History/Background Story: Elizabeth had a fairly ordinary childhood before finding out she was a witch. She lived with her mother, father, little sister. and dog Skipper in their house in Wisconsin.
She spent her free time riding her bike with her friends, exploring the woods near her house, swimming, climbing trees, and just enjoying her friends' company. Sometimes her exploring got her into trouble, such as the time she snuck out of her yard when she was 6 and, upon finding an old, abandoned barn nearby her house, decided to explore it. Was it her fault the boards on the floor were rotted? Of course, Elizabeth didn't really think about that possibility - with exploration she usually didn't - and had fallen through, breaking her leg. She had gotten into a lot of trouble for that.
When she wasn't with her friends, she could often be found curled up on her beanbag chair in her room, reading a book. She was curious and loved to learn all that she could about the world. Sometimes, she would pull her sister into her room and read to her some of the interesting things she had read within her books, and when the dog ventured into her room, she would read to him, too.
Elizabeth also could not stand seeing people treated badly, especially those she cared about. Once, a boy in her class was being mean to a new girl Elizabeth had befriended, causing her to run home in tears multiple times. As retaliation, Elizabeth had learned about the boy's fears - spiders - and had gathered a dozen spiders before school. She had quickly snuck into the classroom and released the spiders into the boy's desk. That had not been a good day for him. Of course, most of the time Elizabeth was kind and generous, but if someone hurts her friends, watch out.
Like many young witches and wizards, Elizabeth showed her magical ability early, in strange, unexplainable ways. Her very first incident was when she was 3, and her mother had told her she could not have a cookie. Elizabeth had stomped off to her room and, upon picking up her stuffed bunny (her go to toy when she was upset), had found three cookies. For the next half hour, she had managed to find a dozen cookies scattered around her room, which she began happily munching on. When her mother had found her, a small pile of cookies next to her, she had been very angry and hadn't believed Elizabeth's story that she had simply found them. It was only recently that both had discovered how the strange event happened.
