What, aren't you up for it ?
Persephone was chewing thoughtfully on her left thumb's nail. She twirled her quill in her fingers, pondering on her next sentence.
She heard someone nearby stifle a yawn and glanced around. The library was half empty, as usual, and she favoured this place above her Common Room, which was quite crowded at this time of the day. She did have her Charms essay to finish, after all.
During the 17th Century, Wizards came to think they had invented almost every spell they could think of...
No, the phrasing was not quite right. She shuffled through the book in front of her, trying to find the exact paragraph she had read a few minutes earlier. She was quite bored now, she realized, since she had been working on this essay for one hour straight without so much as look outside through the window. The weather was becoming quite sunny again, she had observed, and it would feel quite nice to work on the Grounds in a few weeks.
Someone in the library stifled yet another yawn, and Persephone glanced at their general direction, irritated, before erasing the last sentence she had written and putting her quill down on her parchment again. Scribbling the last sentence of the essay, she put her quill down in her inkwell before stretching her stiff muscles and looking around, basking in a sun ray, not feeling quite like wanting too leave yet.

What, aren't you up for it ?
Even the studious Anastasia had her limits. She had lost count of how long she had been working on this bloody essay, and it still wasn't quite right. Sure, she had technically completed the assignment two feet of parchment ago, but she still hadn't reached the point she wanted to. She glanced up and out the window. Despite the fact that she avoided the outdoors whenever she could, it looked to be an absolutely lovely day out, and frankly, anything that wasn't studying sounded compelling at the moment. She had a headache, and she was starting to get hungry.
She sighed a moment before setting her quill down and stretching out her arms. As she extended them, she heard all sorts of satisfying cracks and pops. The joys of being a dancer...
She tried in vain to turn her focus back to her essay, but the words just wouldn't flow. Another girl seemed to be in the same predicament nearby. There was just something about the beautiful day outside.
After another few minutes of trying to force herself to study (and failing spectacularly), she finally decided to get up and move around a bit. That should get the blood flowing and hopefully make her just a little less antsy.

What, aren't you up for it ?
Troubling her tranquility, Persephone heard a sigh, then a series of cracks and pops. Turning around, she saw a Gryffindor girl she hadn't noticed earlier, stretching herself in a very weary way. She had a few books in front of her and a roll of parchment, and she looked longingly to the windows. Amused, Persephone watched the girl rise and walk about in the library, her essay forgotten.
She rolled her parchment tightly and neatly, and gathered the books before putting them back on the shelves. She rolled her neck once she was done with that, and walked easily towards the Gryffindor girl.
"Good afternoon," she said smoothly, a smirk tugging at the corner of her lips. "Trouble with essays ? Maybe I can help."
She didn't mean that as condescending, but well. She had a habit of making things sounds worse, after all. Percy fought the urge to cringe and tried to show the girl that she was sincere. While fights were indeed entertaining, she didn't really want to antagonize everyone, and she was quite bored. Blossoming friendships were more interesting in the long term than petty fights, after all.
OOC : Sorry for the smallish RP, I promise I'll do better once they actually start interacting !

What, aren't you up for it ?
Anastasia's focus was broken by some Slytherin girl who felt it necessary to approach her. Anastasia resolved to be polite at least, since she already had lost count of how many feuds she had, and she wasn't even done with her first year, so she was trying to make more friends than enemies at the moment. That resolve was nearly forgotten when the girl began to offer her help with her essay. As bloody if! Anastasia was a top student in every single class and the other girl didn't look to be more than a first year like herself.
Still, she honestly hadn't the time or energy for more enemies, so she was going to attempt niceness and could snap at the blonde if she persisted. "I'm quite alright, thank you very much," she said, her smile tight and her eyes rather cold. "What about yourself? Do you require any unsolicited assistance with your homework?" She cringed a tad as that last bit come off a tad more curt than she'd intended. However, she hadn't said anything rude or untrue, just pointed out that she hadn't solicited this random girl's help. If the girl chose to be offended at someone pointing out facts, that was her own problem, not Anastasia's problem.
OOC - Same, girl, same. Also, sorry in advance for my irratic posting. For the next few weeks until school finishes up, I should be way better about posting more and longer.
