Ballroom Piano - Ivory Keys
Bailey had been working on his homework which seemed never-ending at this point. He was used to having a plethora of knowledge thrown in his direction with his private tutors from home. They taught him many different things before he had come to Hogwarts and he now understands how much he took the one on one sessions for granted. It was much easier when you had someones' undivided attention and now he was debating on if he should get a tutor.
Not that his grades were bad. He exceeded expectations but he needed to be the top of the class, the best of the best to please his family. He needed an Outstanding on his next few grades to hopefully bump him up. His grandmama was proud he was exceeding the expectations but she was quite clear she knew he could do better and thus the expectation to be the best was thrust upon him. The stress overbearing him at this point and he needed to get away. Get away from the common room and away from the study hall and surprisingly even away from the library which he loved so much. He knew he had been slacking ever since he learned about the fantasy books in the muggle studies section and instantly was drawn to wanting to read every single one.
It wasn't good for him at this time. He needed to find a balance between entertainment and his class work. He needed to keep his mind on the goal but still enjoy his time here. He needed to clear his mind... As he pondered and thought real hard on a plan and itinerary to meet his goal, he passed huge ajar doors that led into a well-lit room of marble flooring. Peering just inside the empty room with nothing but a piano in the side of the section. It looked like tables were being laid about and only a few school elves were wandering about to get things set up.
Taking a few steps in, they didn't seem to mind his presence as he moved about the room and towards the beautiful black piano with ivory keys. His fingers lightly brushing the top as he moved more towards the keys and gently sat upon the chair. The keys and piano shined brilliantly in the sunlight that flooded the room from the large windows that peered out into the grounds of the school. Many students below rushing about and playing all around. The Quidditch pitch could be seen in the far distance. His eyes scanning the keys once more, his fingers in position. His mind slowly seeping out all stress as the music flowed within him and his fingers memory sensors kicking in.
The song echoed through the room and even the elves seemed pleased by its melody and the company they received while working on the ballroom decorations for the upcoming gathering that must have been being hosted in the next few hours. Bailey wouldn't be staying for the private gathering of course but he would indulge in his time with the beautiful ivory keys beneath his fingertips. A huge fan of Studio Ghibli, he began playing OST - Theme Song to Howls' Moving Castle.

Ballroom Piano - Ivory Keys
Shay was walking around, she was just trying to find her way to the rehearsal room to practice her violin, but, she was lost. The halls were quiet and empty. As she walked further, she heard something. It was the sound of a piano playing. She walked towards it, ending up just outside of the ballroom. She turned the doorknob, opening the door slightly. Inside was a boy with blonde hair and blue eyes, he played the piano smoothly and elegantly. The room echoed the sound, making it louder than it should've been.
Shay walked inside, carrying her cello. The boy didn't flinch, nor even glance at her presence, that's how focused the boy was. She quickly, but quietly set up her own little station just a little behind him. SHe opened her cello case and set it up. She then had to swiftly dig through her music. The boy played "OST - Theme Song to Howls' Moving Castle", Shay had the cello piece to the music. Finally, she found it. She placed it upon her stand and stretched her fingers. She cracked her knuckles, then began to play along. She closed her eyes, not caring about whether or not the boy had noticed her yet. She just kept playing. All the elves around took an interest in the piano and cello duet. The room filled with the vibrations of the enchanting instruments.

No matter what people say, you're beautiful just the way you are. You don't have to change to fit in, just be yourself. People who want to be friends with you when you're your true self are real friends.
