Throwing Sticks Open Closed

Ogla stood facing the castle, a long, carefully carved stick laying parallel to her. She had her arms to her body and waited a best before making a graceful swooshing motion with her arm to the right as she crouched closer to the ground and picked up the bo staff, bring her leg around. She leapt in the air, swinging the staff to the sound quickly, then threw it up into the air. Catching it with her other hand, she drew her arm and legs back to her body, lifting one leg up like a flamingo and bending her arms at the elbows.

Then she began the fighting gestures. Ogla swung the bo staff, at an unseen target, twisting her body around until she aimed at another. She swung her leg around as if to unbalance an opponent then made a series of quick movements involving releasing and grabbing the bo staff as she swing twirled around; it was really more of a dance with a nice stick than anything else.

After a few exhausting moments, Ogla fell to the ground and let the bo staff roll out of her hand. She'd learn how to use it online and from a secret teacher her Uncle probably had no idea about. She smirked; maybe she'd fattened herself up too much, because she had never been this exhausted before from just practicing with her bo staff.

Sitting up to rest on her hands, Ogla let her head roll back and she stared at the sky. It was a little cloudy but still warm enough for her to wear just a black sleeveless T-shirt, black jeans, and black boots. Her hair was tied up in a tight updo to keep it out of her face. Ogla took chapstick out of her pocket and moistened her lips, staring at the castle.

A lot of interesting things had happened, certainly some to raise eyebrows to. At the end, friends were to be made, class were to be passed, and days were to be spent. Ogla wondered if she was considered doing well so far in her school life. She didn't care for having friends, especially too much, but she had to admit that it was getting pretty tiring to only be able to confide in herself about everything she witnessed. Diary writing was too babyish to her, she wouldn't dare do that, it would make her feel way too weak, like she had to be emotionally to survive.

Ogla sighed, touching her bun, then her buzzed hair. It was going to need to be cut again soon, it was starting to grow a little too much. Sighing, Ogla stood up and cracked her knuckles, then grabbed her bo staff to practice once again.

“Ogla Crocorith is her name, and tomfoolery isn't her game.”
