Why do some owls take longer than others to send? I have a few owls that I have sent hours ago that are still under the flying tab, whereas others arrive within a few moments and I'm able to reply instantaneously.

Owls that remain "Flying" are unread by the other person. Once they are opened, they are no longer considered "flying."

@Aquarius Laven If you want to write an owl to a certain player, this is how you should do it:
Step 1: Click on the Envelope of someone's profile.
Step 2: Once you clicked one that Envelope it will automatically lead you to the owl and you can write to that player. And after you finished, then click on "Send". That's how you send an owl.
