The Past All in All 1995 - 2000
Ravenclaw Girls Dormitory
30th June 1995

Leotasandra and Klaus has promised their eldest Daughter, Thellea that they would attend her graduation months before July. However, Thellea no matter how hard she looked could not find her parents anywhere. They had promised and it was now broken. Her parents always kept their promises no matter what and for them both not to attend brought much concern over Thellea. She had skipped the celebratory evening feast and skipped up the steps to the Ravenclaw tower. The school term was coming to an end
In two days time and she had much to pack.

Slamming the door open, Thellea was surprised to find a short pale skinned creature dressed in rags right at the door of her dorm bed. It was Gustuv, one of the three houselves that served her family. He held a parchment in his hand, but the look plastered on his face was one of worry. Thellea could only assume that what he had wasn't good news.

T.S,

I apologise that we could not make it to your graduation due to an unfortunate situation we are in. I have tragic news. He who shall not be named is rising and his deatheaters have began hunting once again, they’d kill those that will not follow him and we will not. We are now on the run and we beg you not to come for us it is far too dangerous. Your Brother and Sister should now about this too. It would be harder for them to find us if we were apart. If your Father and I survive, we will find you. Stay safe, my dear.

L.S
"Where are they?" Thellea demanded for the third time, her voice leaked with much anger but her face stained with tears. The words in the letter was too much for her. The tumors of Voldemort rising was indeed true. How could the Ministry of Magic deny that?

"M...Madame Schütte says Gustuv cannot tell Thellea. Thellea cannot help Lady Schütte. Thellea must be safe." The houself cowered in fear as he repeated once again. Thellea had her wand drawn out in sheer desperation to get an answer. If her parents were in danger she needed to help. As if reading her thoughts, Gustuv had said, "Lady Schütte sent Anni and Fred to help Heinrich and Heidi. Gustuv must help Thellea. Dangerous people is coming for Master's family."

Dangerous people, the death eaters. They killed those who would not follow. Gustuv was a simple houself he wouldn't be much of a help but was merely a messenger. Anni and Fred were the other two houselves and no doubt were instructed to send her siblings the same message. Heidi was in Beauxbaton Schooling while Heinrich, her younger twin Brother, in Durmstrang. Thellea cursed internally for her parents to agree for them to be put in separate schools, at least she managed to see them this year when students of Durmstrang and Beauxbatons came to Hogwarts for the games. The schools should be safe and the houselves were loyal, they would risk their lives to protect them. Thellea forced her self to calm down and convince herself that she shouldn't worry about them but herself. She had no where to go. She was a graduate and couldn't stay in Hogwarts. The recent rumours had proven that Hogwarts wasn't the safest place either. Thellea was sure that home wasn't one of the options, as deatheaters were surely waiting at the doorstep and there was a probability that it had been already destroyed to bits. She wouldn't take the risk. Where should she go?

"Pack my trunk, we're going tomorrow first thing in the morning. Right now, stay in the dorm until I come back." Thellea instructed. The good thing about houselves was that they were meant to do chores and it was much easier for them to do. With a snap of Gustuv's finger, her belongings began floating themselves into her expandable trunk. Right now, she had to meet somebody. She stormed out of the room.

As soon as Adebard received the owl, he had made his way from the Slytherin Common room to the library where Thellea had told her to meet. Something must have been extremely important. It wasn't expected that his parents would show up at the graduation party and they didn't. He wasn't disappointed at all, the last five years, his family had family problems for a divorce to his parents remarrying and having new families. He and his younger Sister, Julia was in the middle of it all, not sure where to go, jumping from their Father's house to their Mother every seasonal holiday. But what bothered him was the fact that he didn't see any sign of Thellea during the Graduation feast.

His eyes lit up when he saw Thellea appear from behind on of the bookshelves. His smile faded when he realised she was crying. His eyes furrowed in concern as they closed the gap between them, Thellea pulling him into a hug. For about a minute or two they remained that way, Thellea's chin resting on his shoulder and his hand rubbing her back comfortingly.

They had been together for almost a year, before that they were the best of Friends. Thellea had been transferred from Beauxbaton during her third year just because her Mother insisted she did. She was a German and barely knew any English but was fluent in French and most of all Dutch, Adebard's native language. Adebard was the only one who could hold a conversation with her without any language barrier and they became friends instantly. Adebard wasn't very good at his studies and so Thellea, the straight O student had took her time to tutor him while Adebard reprociated the gesture by teaching her the English language. Of course, their relationship grew and last year, they had finally confessed their feelings. It was possibly the best thing he had ever heard when Thellea had told him she had feelings for him too.

Finally, Thellea stood and arms length away from him, her eyes bloodshot as she wiped the moisture with her sleeve. "What's wrong?" Adebard had asked in Dutch, the language they commonly used when speaking to each other. Even with a tear stained face and her hair uncombed, she still was as beautiful and it hurt Adebard to see her so distressed especially when he couldn't figure out why.

"What happened during the games, it's true..." Thellea mumbled as she blot away the last of the tears.

"Cedric Diggory, yes, we all know that." The death of the boy was sudden, nobody had expected it but why Thellea felt this way, Adebard couldn't figure out, he never remember her being close to anyone in Hufflepuff at all.

"Not him, you-know-who. He's back." Her words were hushed, barely audible. Adebard never believed the rumours, the professors had said Diggory's death was an accident but Harry, the one who had brought him back had said something about Voldemort being back. Adebard had thought he was delusional, but what made Thellea believe that must've been much more than the words of a 5th year.

"You can't believe-" Adebard protested but was cut of by Thellea's sharp tone of words.

"Forget it Ade, I came to tell you that I'm going." If looks could kill, Adebard would have been dead by now. Thellea had a way of looking dead serious in a way you wouldn't want to mess with her. Thellea turned around sharply but reached out swiftly and Adebard caught her wrist.

"Where are you going? What's wrong? Please tell me Thea, I can help you." Adebard pleaded. Thellea was clearly not telling him things and it worried him even more. They almost never kept things from each other. Trust could be found in the relationship they had but Thellea was not making it easy on him at that moment. Still, he persisted.

"You can't help. It's too dangerous. The death eaters are coming for my parents. It wouldn't be much longer before they come for me or worse, Heidi and Heinrich." Tears returned to her face as she ripped her wrist from his grasp.

They were back. Deatheaters. Adebard didn't know what to say, Thellea couldn't afford to get hurt, she meant everything to him. Now the situation she was in, being targeted by such vicious beings.

"Its not an option. If death eaters are coming for you then they'd have to go through me. I'm not going to let you run around, defending yourself with no one to watch your back." Adebard protested. He was 18, she was 17. Technically, she was underage and still being tracked by the Ministry of Magic which would put her in even more risk.

"You’d get hurt..." Thellea now looked down nervously at her feet. The beauty about the woman he loved was that she was selfless, never wanting anyone to put anyone at risk because of her. But Adebard wasn't giving her a choice.

"I don't care as long as you aren't. I promise we'd figure it out. I'd get Julia to tell Father that I won't be coming home for a while. I’ll contact a few of my friends to see if we can stay at theirs for a while." Adebard said as he reached out to wipe a tear that was rolling down her cheek which causes Thellea to muster a sad smile and once again, pulled him into an embrace.

"Thank you." She muttered into his ear. After that, Adebard walked her back to the Ravenclaw dormitory. It was said that Hogwarts was a safe place but even the 18 year old was having doubts about that. It wouldn’t hurt to ensure that Thellea got back safely. Along the hallway they had agreed to meet at Hogsmaede early morning the next day. Possibly to get a bite of breakfast before making their way to their next destination.

Thellea Schütte
Three Broomsticks, Hogsmeade
Date
7:20am
Footsteps echoed down the tunnel as Thellea made her way through the dark secret tunnel, Gustuv with the trunk in hand, tagging at her heels. Another one of the perks to be accompanied by a house elf. Lumos, one of the first few spells she had learnt in her first year in Beauxbatons was still one of the most practical spells even until now. The tip of her 20.5cm Blackthorn and Thunderbird Tail Feather core wand shone brightly, lighting the dark path in front of them. The tunnel was so narrow that she could barely stretch her an arm out. The walls were made of limestone bricks and were rough. It wasn’t before long they reached the exit, a rather large fracture in the wall that a Bombarda Spell might have caused.

Thellea poked her head through first, checking to see if there were any folks around before squeezing her way through the crack, Gustuv the small elf did so effortlessly only to realise that the trunk had gotten stuck. At first, the elf attempted to free it by pulling but it had not budge an inch. He and Thellea together tried once again to yank it out but to no avail. In the end, Thellea had to result in shrinking the luggage with reducio. By the time they had gotten it out, it was 7:45. Late. She couldn’t keep Adebard waiting.

Hurrying along with Gustuv struggling to keep up, Thellea crossed down the alleys, using the fastest routes she could remember ever taking, rushing for time. Late, late, late. She was never tardy, never for her lectures or meetings. Now she made Adebard wait on her. But when she swerved down a corner, she saw a flash of movement that happened so fast to even register what it was. It collided hard into her and throwing her backwards into the ground, the air forced out of her lungs in the process. An Attack.
