The Leather Bond
Her fingertips ghosted over the spines of the books as she surveyed the titles in front of her, the room filled with the smell of knowledge, power, and dust... or maybe it was the books who have hued with age. Either way she gladly inhaled, Catherine smiling as if the books held secrets she only knew. Maybe they did. Finally, her finger swiped a smooth, cold, leather book, the title reflecting in a gorgeous gold, catching her eye imediately. "Hmmm." She hummed appreciatively as she easily slid the book out of his comfortable hiding spot.
She had never seen anything like it before, the smooth covers with a soft smell of old leather and the title shining though in a language she wasn't sure she knew. Catherine took the book with her as she headed towards a table, her eyes solely on the piece of work in front of her as she tried to establish exactly what language the book was written in. After moments of unmoving, she sighed, her body slumping against the table as she gave up, her mind screaming with nonstop questioning.
When Catherine heard the movements and soon saw the shoes directed her way under the table, she looked up, surprised that someone had come to talk to her much less in front of the others in the library. "Yes?" She said softly, her eyebrow quirking as she took the person in front of her.

Who is that?
Catherine O'Boyle
"Oh, no, there goes that other O'Boyle."
