Blake signed a little bit as she carried her luggage onto the train, shouting her last goodbye to Rudolfa and her parents, Blake didn't feel very good. She wanted to study magic at home like so that she could stay near her, but her parents didn't agree on letting their daughter living in an anti-social lifestyle anymore and would send her to Hogwarts no matter what. Blake knew that she would one day thanks her parents for sending her to Hogwarts, going to school could actually be better than home-schooled, she could get more experiences than staying at home forever. But right now, there couldn't be another worst day in her life, leaving the only place and people she felt safe with.

"Welp, at least I would see them at Chrismast" So instead of grieving over something so small like going to school, Blake was thinking of what she could do in Hogwarts, the not so unfamiliar place to her since she had read a lot of books about it in her parents's giantic library. Blake knew almost everything about it.

On her journey to find a compartment, she met some annoying second year whose was nothing but a bunch annoying block heads, Blake wanted to cast a curse on them, since she knew that although she couldn't properly curse them, a false spell would just harm them more or less. But Blake knew better to do so and left, didn't forget to gift them a dead glare with her weird dark violet eyes.

Finally, Blake found a compartment which had already have a person occupied. At least they had no excuses to shoo her away since the compartment couldn't be full with only one person, but she highly doubt that this person would be another rude foe. There couldn't be so many impolite students dancin' around in Hogwarts, right?

Man has it been a crazy day., River thought to herself as she sat down in the empty compartment on the Hogwarts Express. She felt relieved that there was an unoccupied one, as she was so shy, and uncomfortable approaching strangers. River had decided to arrive extra eary, to avoid just that, and she was exhausted after the trip.

I had been such an overwhelming time, from when she got her letter to when she arrived at the express, and she knew it was not the end of the road. River had actually not known a single thing about magic until a few weeks ago, and to be honest, she didn't know if she believed it or not. I mean, I have seen a lot of trange things since I got to the place called diagon alley, she thought. She even had a suspicion taht this was just a way for her father to get rid of her. She seemed to only bother him lately.

River got more and more anxious as the minutes went by. She didn't know much about the school called Hogwarts, except that it was apparently magical. She was also nervous, because she knew it was only a matter of time, until someone would come and ask to sit with her in the quiet compartment. Not that she didn't want anyone there, just simply because she never felt great at making friends, and was never a very social person.

And in that moment, a girl walked though the compartment door.
River looked quickly down at her feet being too shy to make eye contact. Oh come on River, you'll seem rude if you continue like this, she thought, and sighed quietly. River looked carefully up at the girl, and gave her a polite smile, "Hello" , River said quietly.

You know it's going to be one of those days, a day when things just get more and more weird. Sara was seen on the platform, hugging her mum and dad goodbye, darting for the train only to be stopped by her mother, handing her a small backpack. "You'd forget your head if it wasn't firmly attached to your shoulders, honestly!" Her mother said to her.

Sarabeena sighed swinging the pack over her left shoulder. "Thanks mum!" she said, and darting back onto the train, her father just smiled and shook his head at her.

Sara ran down the car, not watching where she was going and pulled the shutter of their compartment open, still watching down the hallway as she slipped inside and closed the door, sitting down in the bench and eyes widen at the other two already here.

"Oh. Oh I'm so sorry, I - Everywhere else was full, you see. I - I thought this one was empty..." She looked nervously to the other two girls and pulled her bottom lip between her teeth for a moment before finally blurting out. "I'm Sarabeena by the way...Sara for short...Or Beena...Uhm...Hello!" She put her most friendly face on and pulled her backpack around to her front, apparently deciding she was going to stay in this cart.

As we all know; the road to hell is paved with plastic miniatures and polyhedral dice.

Mari couldn't help it - she sobbed when she said goodbye to her youngest sister. While she obviously cared for her parents and Lucy, Grace was a special case...she needed her! How was her sweet, innocent six-year-old sister going to make it without Mari in her life? After all, six was a special age; it was when you began to practice your penmanship and maybe, this year, Grace would finally master that bicycle.

It had already been a difficult day for Mari. Still bristling with annoyance that Mum hadn't convinced Dad about an owl, ("I'll talk to him," Isa had told Mari, but after days of Dad still being as chipper as he could be, Mari knew Isa never would, for Isa feared Dad's flustered, annoyed comments and expressions when discussing magic) Mari was in a bad mood after seeing all the pets on the platform. Then, prickling, she sensed that others were staring at Lucy - beautiful, tall, athletic Lucy - as they expected her to approach the train instead of Mari. If she could have taken her petite frame and continued to shrink it into nothingness, she would have. Lucy, on the other hand, beamed with pride, knowing that next year, she would be in the same place as Mari; unlike Mari, however, she would be finally taking her place as popular queen in the wizarding world. Lucy just had that charm.

So when she hugged sweet Grace as her last goodbye, Mari stared at her younger sister's face and sobbed instead of wishing the cliches of luck that an older sister should. Mum tried to comfort Mari, but with Dad tensing at the throngs of magical energy, Lucy clearly eyeing how she could sneak on the train, and Grace staring in confusion at Mari's crumpled face, it ended up that the Hayneses just departed abruptly, instead. Alone, Mari paused on the platform, composed herself just enough that the sobs turned to quiet whimpers, and opened the train door.

She wished she could say that it smelled of energy and excitement, but honestly? The train smelled like preteen body odor. Mari's nose scrunched in disgust; she needed to get out of the train hallway, and fast. "Maybe the cauldron cakes Mum promised the trolley lady'd have will mitigate this smell," she muttered to herself as she pulled a door open.

She had cracked it just enough to hear, "I'm Sarabeena by the way...Sara for short...Or Beena...Uhm...Hello!" Mari cringed. She may be emotional, yes, but she knew her identity. Being named by her parents as Joy Marianna Haynes, nicknamed Mari at infancy, had taught her to advocate for herself early on, as many, many people wanted to call her Joy, instead. As she stood with the door cracked, however, she re-evaluated. Yes, this Sarabeena girl may not know if she wanted the identity of "Sara" or "Beena" today, whereas Joy Marianna Haynes was definitively Mari, but maybe she should give her a chance. After all, Mari was the one with the red eyes and the puffy cheeks.

She pulled open the door further to reveal two more girls. The first was a short girl with curly hair that made her scalp appear to be on fire. The second appeared to be another small one, with piercing violet eyes. Mari tittered, thought Maybe we can be a small girl army, and after a moment's passing after Sara's statement, stuck her arm out confidently and added, "And I'm Mari. Pleased to meet you all."

Though she is little, she is fierce, Mari thought, over and over again, while she waited for the girls' responses. She knew her eyes were bloodshot from the tears, but she could make Grace proud even through her sadness from their separation while at Hogwarts. To start making her proud? Make friends. Thus, that is what Mari would do.

Blake smiled, at least now she would have to deal with only one nice girl
"Hello! My name's Blake" She said with a cheerful and exciting tone, a fake one by the way. She tend to use the cheerfull and lovely voice everyone usually love to hear. Smiled to the red head as she sat down the opposite couch and put her luggage on one side. She was about to ask the girl's name, another person was already came into the compartment. She started introducing herself in a shaky and shy voice.  Her name was Sarabeena... or Sara.. or Beena.. whatever...
"Hello Sarah, I'm Blake" She greeted and smiled nicely to that girl, Blake surely wouldn't want to scare away this lovely girl. "Again, what's your..." she was trying to ask the red head girl again, but was stopped immidiately by another student. Tilted her head up immidiately to the girl names Mary, to see the face of the girl who had interrupted her, in a really short moment, she realised the redness in the girl's eyes. Pathetic girl, she thought in her mind but didn't express the disdain on her face nor her words.
"Come in sweetheart, there's still one spot left for ya, you're lucky" Blake stood up and asked the girl gently "you wanna sit by the window?"

Allie had known roughly what to expect as she and her family arrived at the train station. It was finally the end of summer, and that meant that it was time for Allie's first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to begin. Standing on the sidewalk, she squinted up through her eyelashes to look at the giant clock tower above them. '9 am? jeez, I haven't been awake this early in the morning since it was my birthday.' Allie thought to herself as her father struggled to get her suitcase out of the back of the car. She couldn't help but laugh a little bit before going to help her father.

She wheeled her suitcase behind her and looked around excitedly at the different places they were passing by. Allie had seen muggles for most of her life, even having some in her family tree, but it was still so fascinating to her to just watch them go about their day, completely unaware of the magical world that was right under their noses. They solved problems in some of the most interesting ways, and they kinda dressed a bit funny, but she was sure that they would probably think the same of seeing wizards and witches in robes and cloaks all the time.

As they neared the platform at arou9:30 am0am, Allie's mother pulled her to the side a bit and whispered in her ear. "Now, you mustn't let the muggles notice you going through the wall. They'll start to ask a lot of questions and it'll be a big fuss to deal with. Try to keep it smooth and on purpose." Allie's mother straightened her daughter's hair a bit before placing a gentle kiss on her forehead. "Alright," she continued. "Just follow right after me and your father."

Getting onto the platform was easy enough, just keep your eyes forward and walk straight into the wall as if it wasn't even there. Once on the platform, Allie was greeted with the sight of many other families waving goodbye to their children, many of the mothers were crying. Allie hoped that her mother wouldn't be amongst them, but it was probably going to happen anyways. She wandered around for a bit as her parents said hello to a few of their colleagues and friends before it was time to finally start boarding the train. Allie's dad helped her get her suitcase on board before she hugged both of her parent's goodbye. She knew that they were probably going to start crying as soon as they got home.

Allie wandered down the aisle of the train, checking out each compartment to see if there was an empty space for her. She finally found one at the end of the third segment. As she opened the door, a few faces turned to look at her. "Sorry, may I have that empty seat? There's not really anywhere else on the train for me to sit down at." She explained, waiting for a response.

"Come in sweetheart, there's still one spot left for ya, you're lucky. You wanna sit by the window?"

Mari smiled weakly, feeling comforted by the girl. Maybe I can do this after all, she thought. At least, she didn't feel like more tears were going to pour out of her eyes anymore, even if she still felt a bit nauseous. "Thank you," she murmured, glowing a bit from the kindness. "And what is your name? Are you a first year as well?"

No sooner had she moved toward the window seat that another girl entered, saying, "Sorry, may I have that empty seat? There's not really anywhere else on the train for me to sit down at."

Mari froze. That was her seat, darn it, and though the tears seemed to be returning, she knew that she deserved it. That sweet girl had just offered it to her, and Mari finally felt like someone who belonged, (which she honestly was surprised, given that she hadn't even gotten to Hogwarts yet!) and this girl wasn't going to take that glowing feeling away from her. She turned, smiled in an apologetic-yet-gloating way, hoping the new girl wouldn't notice the now-pink coloring in her eyes, and retorted, "No, my new friend just offered me that, sorry. You're welcome to stand, though. Sorry, guess you should have been a little more punctual with your arrival?"

It came off a little nastier than she expected, but Mari didn't care. Someone was already being nice to her! Maybe she could make it out of Lucy's shadow, after all; this new girl would have her chance to make a friend like Mari was with the seat-offering friend. She eagerly turned back to her newfound friend and rapidly inquired, "What did you think about finding out about Hogwarts? I actually didn't know much because Dad doesn't love talking about magic, but I was thrilled to hear what we are going to be able to do! It's going to be so hard being away from family, especially my very favorite sister, Grace, but I know we'll be so busy too. It's just, she's six, and I really wish she could come with us so I knew she was alright. Do you have any siblings?"

Allie was taken aback by the response of the girl. She took a step back and shook her head slightly, trying to keep her hands from trembling. She knew that some of these people were definitely going to be sorted into Slytherin, but she didn't expect them to be so rude without good reason. Allie just asked if she could have a seat. "No thanks, I'll just go find somewhere else to take a seat." She closed the sliding door of the compartment before continuing down the aisles. By the time she had reached the fourth unit of the train, she found a completely empty space compartment that seemed like no one had claimed it yet. She looked back and forth, up and down the aisle to make sure that no one was going to be coming this way. She quickly scurried inside, closing the door behind her and pulling the blinds. She scrunched her body onto the seat closest to the window and took deep breaths. She wasn't about to cry on this train like a child. After calming herself down, Allie shifted her body to stare out of the window at the empty side of the station. It was so nice to not have to see the crying faces of her parents. That would only make her feel like crying even more.

As she was going to say a nice excuse to the blondie, Mari cut her line with really weird and nasty words to the other girl, which was absolutely opposite from the nice greet she gave Blake just a moment ago.

Then, Blake was just sitting there, watching the two new girl who just stepped into the compartment with weird analysing thoughts, watching Marie said nastily to the other poor blondie. It was rather new to Blake to observe something like that, Mari who seems to be a nice person, got so hostile toward that blondie just to fend her seat in the compartment, or maybe she wanted something esle beside the seat?
As the new girl went away to find another emty place, maybe she was about to cry but didn't want other to see. Blake tempted to go after her and try to comfort the poor girl, not because she was sorry for the blondie, but to gather more allies in Hogwarts. But thought better of it, if she went after blondie now, she'd probably loose Mari as a friend. But if she just seat here like she herself didn't understand what just happened, she might see blondie later in school and excuse herself, be friend with both.
"Jeeze, that was a little bit harsh"

She spoke that line a little bit lighter and jokeful, in order to skip the event smoothly, still gave out her thought of the situation to existence, but also make her opinion more acceptable to Mari
"Also, I'm the only daughter in the house, but I have a really close neighbor. She's older than me, her name was Rudolfa"

Allie let out a sigh and continued to stare out of the window of the empty compartment she was in. She was still thinking about that interaction that happened with the other girl earlier. Allie hadn't meant any harm in asking if she could have that seat, and had she known that it was already offered to Mari, then she would've apologized for the mistake and went somewhere else. She rolled her eyes a bit at the whole situation but figured that it would probably be better for her to just let the situation go before she started her first school year off to a bad start.

She looked up front the window to the sliding door of the compartment before shaking her head politely at the woman in front of her. Allie wasn't really in the mood for treats or anything like that. She really just wanted to be left alone right now with her thoughts. She began to wonder what life would be like once they finally got to the school. It was one thing to have seen pictures and heard stories about Hogwarts, but it was a different story to actually being there and going through the classes and hallways yourself.
