Research; First Weekend
(RPG; Preferably first years; doesn't matter what house)
Lilac would be rather enjoying the castle grounds especially the lake on this early Saturday Morning; however Lilac needed to find out more about Mrs Griffin; what department of the Ministry of magic did she work for; why did she escort Lilac to Diagon Alley; it wasn't the norm for muggle-kids.
Lilac had a very basic understanding of the Ministry; it was like that of a government with various department heads. Lilac scanned the book titles "Sporting department Guide" "Ministry laws for muggle protection" "Ministry rights for magical creatures" Nope none of these books seemed to hint they'd be of use. Ahhhh... thought Lilac that should help. "A modern guide to the Ministry departments and their head-staff" Lilac pulled the book from the shelf and sat down on a nearby library desk. As Lilac scanned the chapters list, she was amazed at how many departments the Ministry has she didn't have a clue where to start. She thought perhaps security; the only area of the Ministry she knew of that would possibly involve security was that of Aurors. She turned to Chapter Nine. Department of Magical Law Enforcement. The book read "Responsible for ensuring Magical Law is upheld across Britain. The Department has several sub-sections including Department of Defense and Department of Aurors." She continued to read; the chapter felt like it went on for ages until finally, she came across a sub-heading "Department Heads past and present." However, to Lilac disappointment, there was no mention of Mrs Griffin. However Lilac was already beginning to think that it was most likely Mrs Griffin belonged to the Department of Defense. It occurred to Lilac she could try researching modern-day Aurors. She went back to the bookshelf and returned with “Modern-day Auror’s and their job profiles.” Lilac was surprised that such a book even existed. Lilac was so engrossed in the book that she hardly noticed the other student sitting down beside her, until the thud of the books, making Lilac jump. “Hey” Said Lilac, politely.
