Meet me!
Ryan sat at the desk in the potions room surrounded by vials of whos a whats its galore. He sat there reading a book bored out of his mind. Easily hating on potions, he couldn't help but fall asleep easily. Constantly nodding off, he was thinking of all the friends he made. Some nice, some super nice, and some he could not forget about.
Wake up Ryan, he thought as he knew he had to do well in this class to pass. Especially because the class was required. Ben walked in first, weird seeing Ben here so late, normally he'd be patrolling around. He peeked in then left, and then Felicity walked in. Truly the most beautiful girl in the castle, she was perfection, from the way her attire was so proper to her golden blonde hair. That didn't even matter though, it was a plus, but no, her real perfect qualities were her intelligence, motivation, and that she was so sweet all the time. Ryan quickly sat up, fixed his hair, straightened his robe and prepared to make his move.
Then Felicity walked passed Ryan without a word, his heart feeling like it had been thrown in the blender she stood next to him. Ben walked in and with a cool breezing smile he looked at Felicity and the two locked eyes. Ryan started whispering, mouthing out his fears.
"No No No, please god no" and then it happened. The two kissed lip-locking like they were spellbound. The mood was perfect, it was dark in the potions class, and no one was around. Ryan had lost his girl, just like that it was over. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" he screamed as he woke up.
"It was a dream? I have to go to bed...Stupid potions room."

Meet me!
James walked into the basement, looking around for potions class. Potions wasn't his most desired class, but he thought that he might as well make the best of it. He wandered around for a bit, but eventually found the classroom. James walked into the room, looking around for a good place to sit. He found a wooden desk with a boy already at the table, and decided to sit with him. James swiftly walked up to the desk, and placed his bag just next to him. James placed his large, black cauldron he'd been carrying with him onto the desk, and grabbed a few supplies out of his bag including his book on potions, along with some ingredients.
James pulled out a dark green book titled Magical Drafts and Potions. He placed it onto the table, and looked attentively at the professor's desk that stood in the front of the room, and observed some of the cauldrons filled with odd potions with even odder effects. The boy next to him, who was also a ravenclaw from his clothing, dozed off. James assumed it was nothing more than a simple lack of interest in the class, and decided to do nothing. Instead, James took notes and did what was asked of him. James began to grow quite bored and uninterested, and started to think about other classes like charms and transfiguration. With all of the thoughts roaming within in his head, one would think he wasn't paying attention. While this might have been the case, he tried his best to stay focused, even if he didn't show it.
After some time, James decided to wake the fellow ravenclaw up. James simply tapped the boy on the shoulder, something which at first did nothing. He did it again, this time with success. The boy awoke, and let out a loud "NO!" as he woke up. "Something wrong?" James asked, curiously tilting his head to the perspective of the other boy. After a short moment of silence, James simply shrugged his shoulders, and continued to flip through the pages of his book to see what all things he had to do next. All he really heard was some small whispers from the other boy, but didn't really pay attention to it. "So, what's your name?" James asked after what James assumed was enough time for the boy to become awake enough to engage in conversation.

Meet me!
Kendra walked in the classroom carefully observing her surroundings as she did so. She took a seat behind two Ravenclaw boys she had never seen before. After setting all of her stuff on her desk she sat down and lazily and rested her elbows on the table, cupping her chin in her hands. Potions had been relatively interesting for her and she was getting better each time after many failed first attempts. She looked at the two boys in front of her noticing one of them had dozed off on the table. "What I wouldn't give for an extra hour of sleep every morning." she thought. This boy definitely seemed to be even less of a morning person than she was. The other boy with the glasses sitting next to him must have thought it best to wake him up in case he got in trouble but as he attempted to do so the sleeping boy sprang up shouting as if he had been having a nightmare. Kendra didn't expect such a reaction and as she looked at the boy a little closer she noticed he looked rather disappointed to have woken up.
"Must have been a hell of a dream..." she commented as soon as he started engaging in a conversation with the boy that had just woken him up.

Meet me!
Sefira walks in the room, most of her attention directed to the book in her hand but her senses alert of her surroundings. Her eyes scan over the words of her book. Suddenly she bumps into someone and falls to the ground, her cauldron creating a loud clang as it drops to the floor along with her stuff. A small squeal coming out of her lips, her bright golden orbs going wide in shock and ears momentarily ringing from the noise.
"Watch where you're going!" The boy noticing her unusual yellow eyes and proceeds to leave the room, for some unknown reason. A sneer appears on his face, "Freak." She mutters a small apology despite the boy being gone.
The last word not failing to reach Sefira's ears as she sighs. I suppose some things just never change. Her memories of being constantly tormented because of her eyes, flashes in her mind. Sitting up properly, she starts to collect her things now sprawled on the ground. She briefly checks each one for any scratches, tears or broken items. Hoping she wouldn't have to ask her dad for anything, not wanting to make it harder for him. Thankfully nothing seems to be broken, she stands up and dusts off her robe. Not even noticing her wrist beginning to swell because of the way it collided with the floor.
Sefira makes her way to a desk occupied by a Slytherin girl, "Excuse me, would you mind if I sit here?" A soft smile spreads across her lips almost like the incident never even occurred.

Meet me!
Kendra suddenly heard a voice coming from the right side. She turned her head and looked up at the girl that had just spoken locking eyes with her. Well how couldn't she? The girl had a pair of bright yellow eyes that seemed to sparkle when hit by the light. Kendra was deeply fascinated by them. She had never seen such a feature before and found it extremely special and beautiful. Her mind worked fast preventing her from staring, she didn't want to make the girl uncomfortable.
"Sure, you can sit here!" she said with a smile, pulling some things on the desk out of the way, making room for the girl to set her stuff.
Her mind went in so many different directions as she was trying to work out the cause of those yellow eyes. Could it just be a very rare feature or could it have anything to do with magic? The whole situation intrigued her and she felt very eager to ask questions about it, even though she tried her best to hide her thoughts and be patient.
"I'm Kendra." she introduced herself as the girl settled on the seat next to her. "And you are?"

Meet me!
Abigail had just been getting use to the school. It had just been like how her parents had described it. Peeping down at her timetable. She saw she had potions first. 'Great' she said to herself smiling as she skipped towards the dark dungeon Where her classmates where waiting for her and various other classmates. Walking into in the class room she saw a Slytherin girl sat at the back in the far corner.
Deciding to sit with her. Abigail made her way to the back of class. 'Hello' she said quietly. Also like her mother she had developed her shyness. 'I'm Abigail' she said introducing herself. She took a seat opposite the Slytherin girl. She got her potions book out of her bag before placing her bag on the floor. Taking a look around the room she wondered where did her mum and dad sit and what did they do together.
Turning back around she placed her focus back on her book. She then threw a glance at the girl opposite her. She studied her for a while then she went right back to her book. Bending under the table she got out her quill and ink pot. After this she sat up right and wrote her name in calligraphy in the front of her book. She decided to add some doodles into her book as well.

Welcome! I have to inform you that you should try reaching a minimum of 200 words in your posts. It's a requirement that really adds up to the experience. Also I believe we do not follow the Harry Potter era, which means none of the HP characters appear here. It's a website dedicated to OCs which means we have active OC roleplaying professors to take care of everything. You can always edit your post and please don't be discouraged by any of this. Just trying to help

Meet me!
Sefira's smile becomes wider from hearing those words. She takes a seat, thinking about how not a lot of people are really nice to her. She was always tormented because of her eyes, it's unusual color often caught other's attention. When she was younger it was actually worse, she wasn't able to control her emotions and strong emotions led to her abilities making her hair and eyes a bright fire-like red But she never bothered with what people say, especially when she turned 8, the day her mother died. Her parents always said her eyes were like drops of sunshine. When there are those occasionally nice people, she accepts their kindness with open arms. "Thanks a bunch!" Maybe there is still hope of me getting friends. "My name is Sefira, Sefira Victoire Parker. It's a pleasure to meet you!" She puts her attention on the girl as she begins to arrange her belongings, her slight OCD getting to her. Her sleeve reveals the swelling on her left wrist from before, still not noticing the injury.
"Not meaning to be too straightforward but you're wondering about how my eyes became like this, aren't you?" Usually expecting that people will either discriminate her or become curious how her eyes became how it is. Which is one of the causes of why she's afraid of being seen by muggles, a lot of them tend to fear the unknown and Sefira did not want to be experimented on. But this fear isn't going to stop her of being curious about muggle ways, she loves discovering new traditions and other things from the muggles, the fact that they were able to create wonderful things without magic amazes her.

Meet me!
Kendra hesitated as Sefira offered to tell her what she had been dying to know since she first layed eyes on her. Had she made it that obvious? Sefira didn't seem to be uncomfortable so Kendra decided to admit it. As she opened her mouth to speak she suddenly noticed the girl' swollen wrist.
"Hey you are hurt!" she exclaimed quickly pulling out her wand. "There is a spell I recently studied..." her voice trailed off as she concentrated and pointed the wand at the girl's wrist. "Ferula." she said maintaining a steady tone in her voice.
Bandages sprang out of the tip of her wand wrapping tightly around Sefira's wrist. Kendra smiled proudly seeing the spell was successful.
"Now that that's taken care of, I am dying to know about your eyes!" she admitted with eyes wide open in excitement "I mean they are like yellow diamonds, or like tiger eyes!" she went on. "Is it your magic doing it? Is it a family thing? Is anyone else like you?" she couldn't help pouring all the questions that came out of her mind like a river.
She realised that if she hadn't made Safira uncomfortable up until now her chances seem to be raising with every word she spoke so she decided to hold back any more assumptions she might have and wait for the girl to explain on her own.

Meet me!
"Wow, that was amazing!" Sefira gaped for a moment at the unfamiliar spell, if her dad was here he would probably be laughing at her quality of being so easily amazed. But you can't really blame her, charms has never been her strong suit. "Thank you. I hardly even noticed it!" She smiled already beginning to like Kendra.
Since she was in Hogwarts now, she doubted that saying the truth would lead to her fear of being experimented on, at least she hoped that it wouldn't. Even if it didn't lead to that, people would still question and wonder, especially the Ministry of Magic. Finally sorting out her thoughts and coming to a decision that she could tell and trust Kendra.
The comment from the girl in front of her surprises her a bit then she smiles, "Yellow diamonds? Tiger eyes? You really think that they look like that? No one's ever described them like that before."
Starting to slightly lower her voice, "Well, please don't tell this to anyone but um..... I'm a half-blood, half-phoenix to be precise. My Dad is a Phoenix and my mum was a witch, a curse-breaker actually. My eyes, as well as my hair, also turn a vibrant red when I feel strong emotions like if I'm angry, stressed, panicked, or embarrassed. Although I have learned to control them, it still happens every now and then." She stops, silently waiting for a response.
