Without Further Ado
Imani wasn't the biggest fan of books but the library was still interesting. Sometimes her mom use to take her to the library and read her books, usually historical ones. They both liked things about how stuff happened, Imani just liked laughing at people's failures though. Some people were just so dumb, always doing things without actually thinking about the future. Imani, on the other hand, always thought about what she did and what would happen, but usually she just didn't care. Other people's opinions were not on her level.
Today she sat by herself, which she preferred because other kids just got so noisy for no reason. She wanted to take time to study for History of Magic and Potions, two very interesting subject. Other kids, Hufflepuffs primarily, talked about how cool magical creatures, but when they bite someone's head off, they better not come running to her. She wiped her hands of 'fantastic beasts', she had other things to worry about.
Imani flipped through her books and took notes, swinging her crossed legs back and forth, since the chair was a little too tall for her height, and her feet didn't touch the floor. She hummed to herself, sometimes pausing to cast dark looks at people who were too loud. They really need to hush, the librarians here did not know how to do their jobs at all. It sounded like a mad house in here, and one couldn't be expected to concentrate with all the noise. She sighed heavily and shook her head. "People here are so very ignorant, can't expect me to learn anything with all this ruckus, please," she said, loud enough for people to hear.
