Opposites Attract, Right? PV R. Mairead Closed

Anastasia was feeling fairly all right. On the one hand, schoolwork was becoming more stressful than ever, but on the other, Anastasia was generally content and settled into Hogwarts. Sometimes, she couldn't believe that she was already more than halfway through her first year at Hogwarts and other times, it felt like she had been at Hogwarts for ages. She was certainly a different person than she'd been at the start of the school year. Sure, she was still stubborn as a mule and not nearly as patient as she ought to have been, but she felt like she was a bit more open-minded. She'd grown up hearing her parents talk about how Muggles and Muggle-born wizards and witches were far beneath them in every way. However, they'd also always said that Gryffindor was a complete mess, and that had turned out to be untrue. Overall, Anastasia's relationship with her parents had changed since she'd gone away to school, and she wasn't sure if it was for the better or the worse. She still held their opinions above most other people's, but she was also trying to figure things out for herself.

So, she was willing to at least do a bit of her own research. That's what she was doing at the moment - research. She'd checked out a book on the topic and was scribbling quick notes on a piece of parchment. She supposed that she could always ask one of her Muggle-born classmates, but she didn't trust people the way she trusted books. She also wasn't very close with many people and she certainly wasn't close with any Muggleborns, and she hardly wanted to ask a stranger about something like this.
