Katherine Miriks is a muggle-born witch with two older brothers who don't possess any magical abilities. Katherine's magic wasn't discovered until she was ten years old. After slipping on the stairs and dropping her book, she threw a hand out, causing the book to levitate only centimeters from the floor. With the support of her parents and brothers, Katherine gladly accepted her newfound abilities. It wasn't long after when her letter from Hogwarts arrived. Soon, she was on the train to Hogwarts where she was sorted, after some deliberation, into Ravenclaw. Placed in the Helena Ravenclaw dorm, she met some fellow Ravenclaws and has begun to venture out into the castle.
