Practice Closed

Guess who was back again for at least the 50th time? Min-seoooooo. She had her bag, pointe shoes, water, and music. Whenever she'd come in, it'd usually be quiet and no one was there. She walked down the hall and came in front of the huge double doors. She opened them quietly only to see another girl in there. She tilted her head to the side. The other girl had a caramel messy bun atop her head and was humming a song to the Nutcracker. She was pretty good. She wondered if the other girl had pointe shoes yet. I mean, there's nothing wrong with flats, but did her dance teacher teach her differently than Min-seo? Probably. She snuck by onto the bench and slipped her pointe shoes onto her delicate, small feet. She tied the light pink ribbons onto her slim legs. The girl was quite small at 4'4. She had her long ink black hair in a plaited braid flowing down her back. Her eyes were like a doe's, a deep brown with golden specks around them. Her clothing consisted of an off the shoulder gray shirt and black shorts with cream tights underneath them. She set up her stuff and music. She turned back towards the other girl. SHe clapped lightly. "Very good. Would you like to have music instead of just humming?" she asked with a small smile.

Min-seo smiled. "I thought so." she said. The other girl introduced herself as Ariana. Jackson. Right, Ariana Jackson. Pleasure to meet you Ariana. My name is Min-seo. Min-seo Kim. If it's too hard to pronounce, Min is just fine." she said in a smooth voice. Just then, Ariana was shooting multiple questions at Min-seo and she had a hard time keeping up to the extroverted girl. "Why yes, I do dance. The types of dance I do? Well, I do ballet and contemporary mostly, but I can dance to mostly anything." Well, that answered the question about the flats instead of pointe shoes. She looked at Ariana as she admired her shoes. "Well, I never really thought of them being better, although my Godfather did by the best for me...." she said. Ariana started to talk about her family. Gosh, this girl talked a lot. Min-seo chuckled as the girl rambled. "You have nothing to worry about, Ari, can I call you that? You're not making me uncomfortable, just calm down and take breaths in between sentences. I'm from South Korea. I lived there until my parents and little sister died in a fire. My brother and I moved here and we've been here ever since." she said with a sad smile. She walked over to the music. "Do you want to choose music?"

Min-seo smiled softly. The other girl was super energetic, slightly different than her aura, which was elegant and relaxed, although she could get excited, for sure. ”Thank you Ari, your name is pretty too.” she thought that the other girl was an extremely nice person to talk to so far. Just then, Ari launches herself at Min-seo as she told her about her parents. Min-seo jumped for she was very surprised, but she loved hugs, so she hugged her back. She let go and Ari said sorry. Min shook her head with a smile. ”Don’t worry about it, I love hugs.” she said, still smiling at the very energetic girl. Min-seo smiled and grabbed the music. ”Lovely. I’ll just do one from the first act that I love, is that alright?” she asked softly. Min turned to Ari again. ”My brother? He’s lovely, and he’s 15 years old and in Ravenclaw. He’s a 5th year, and he always takes care of me, along with my Godfather, Jin. I owe my life to him. He saved me that day in the fire. But never mind, let’s not focus on me and my life. What about your family? Are they nice there?” she asked.
