ᴄᴀʀɴɪᴠᴏʀᴇs ɪɴ ᴛʜᴇ ᴅᴀʀᴋ
Evening started crawling its way onto the sky, the sun was slowly beginning to hide, running towards the nearby hills. Blue mixed with orange as purple clouds decorated the gradient, letting sunrays barge through them, ones giving the violet masses a warm lining. The temperatures were somewhat chilly, but nothing severe for even the skinniest of figures as there was no wind, nothing appeared to disturb the nature's steady pace that day.
An unusual time to take a stroll indeed but there she was, slim figure walked with a certain goal in mind, wanting to eat her snack somewhere outside, somewhere in peace. Feet moved slowly, one's attire was somewhat comfy and warm, covered with the yellow-edged robe, a yellow scarf hugging slim neck as one from the Hufflepuff house would wear. The air was fresh as lungs took deep breaths with certain tranquillity, feeling the chilly air travel through nostrils, exhaling a steamy breath one would expect to see when the temperatures weren't at their peak.
Legs carried her to the Stables, despite the girl's love of animals, she wasn't here before for some reason, she wondered why that was exactly. The building was made of stone, somewhat dull one would say but magnificent at the same time. It was rectangle shaped, the roof was strangely built out of bricks, building connected to a stone fence which stretched in a large circle.
Ears could catch sounds of creatures out of the stables, unfamiliar screeches and muffled roars were combining with one another, girl wanted to get a closer look but reminded herself it wasn't the time to disturb the probably-resting animals.
A somewhat dead-looking tree was nearby, its bark dull-coloured as the evening palette gave it an ominous appearance, four ravens chose it as their resting spot, a pair sitting on a bigger branch as the other two were separately sitting on two smaller ones. Blue vision observed them for a minute or so before figure moved towards the tree, back leaning on it quietly, trying not to disturb the dark birds.
Pale hand now reached in one's robe, pulling out a simple lunchbox made of dark wood, decorated with simple carved patterns. Opening it, there were some fresh strawberries next to a tasty-looking sandwich, chicken salami and some salad stuck between the seed bread buns.
A sigh escaped one lip, a feeling of peacefulness circing in one's aura, even though eyebrows were slightly frowning, expression seemed rather serious, intimidating.
Her standing posture, leaning against the bark, appeared somewhat delinquent-like, perhaps masculine some would speak. Before taking a bite into the bread, baby blue switched up, looking towards the hungry-looking ravens.
Separating the sandwich, slim fingers grabbed the chicken salami as gaze noticed eyes on her. So they were hungry after all. Hearing flapping, black feathers fell on slim shoulders as one of the ravens landed next to her feet, observing her with curiosity. Tearing the meat in half, she stretched towards the bird, offering it the chicken piece. The animal's head tilted unsurely, but not for long as sharp beak soon grabbed the offered food, swallowing it in one piece. Lips smiled at the sight, they were beautiful creatures indeed.
With that happening, the remaining ravens flew off the branches one by one as they landed near her, one of them dared to rest on slim shoulder, all of them wanted a piece of the tasty treasure. Grey-haired girl nodded with ease, tearing the rest of her sandwich bit by bit, feeding the hungry beaks calmly as pale fingers invited themselves towards the shoulder-sitting raven, asking for permission and when one appeared to grant it, she gently stroked its neck as the bird was feeding on what was supposed to be her snack.
A gentle breeze came in, caressing one's silky locks as black feathers now gently danced through the evening air.
