Oh dear stars, Dearest stars
One of her first memories as a young child was when she and her mother would walk outside, at night and observe the stars, together. Her mother would tell her all about the constellations and about how stars were made. It happened every night until she left for Hogwarts. Since her arrival here, she hadn't found the time to do this little familial ritual that was so dear to her. She had had dinner, and now was heading to the astronomy tower, on a beautiful night. The tower was far but she didn't mind, she enjoyed walking. She walked the stairs of the tower, one by one, and finally reached the top. The door was open, as they did not close it until 10 pm.
The first thing she felt was the fresh breeze, which made her shiver. Then, the beautiful landscape, drowned in shadows and the moon's light. She laid down in the middle of the tower. The chances that someone would come were small, but even if that happened, she wouldn't care. She looked up to the sky and observed. She wondered if anyone ever counted all the stars of the night sky, which was certainly impossible but probably possible with science and magic. She looked at the moon, and that was the only time since she had joined the school that she felt at home.
"Oh dear stars, how have I missed you. How is mother? Do you see her, upon your high estrade? Is she watching the stars as I am now?"

Oh dear stars, Dearest stars
"The stars are mansions built by Nature's hand" ~William Wadsworth
The wonder of the Wizarding world was that Ash didn't have to travel too far out of Hogsmeade to see the stars. Streetlights, houselights, fireworks acquired from Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes damped the celestial glow from the night's sky.
High above Hogwarts soured the Astronomy tower. Ash had heard the view of the stars was amazing from the tower; the view of the Lake and Hogsmeade off in the distance, he was told were amazing too! Maybe I can catch a glance of home before retiring for the night?
There are as many stairs in the Astronomy Tower as there are in the West Tower to the Ravenclaw Dorms. Ash still hadn't gotten used to that much physical exertion. The prize at the top, though, seemed worth the view.
The door to outside was ajar. Had someone else come to view the stars?
Ash had forgot his winter coat. Had he not learned that the higher you climb in these towers, the colder it gets. He had come this far; he wasn't going to turn back.
Across the tower, a young girl stood. Ash could see her slowly turning her head and looking up as if to pan the view. He'd be doing the same if she hadn't gotten here first.
Ash didn't know if he should announce himself. Should I turn back? I can come back later? Tomorrow?
Without warning, "I'm Ash..." he had blurted just loud enough over the breeze hoping to catch the girl's attention without frightening her.

Lost in her thoughts, Peach had not realized that someone had joined her at the top of the tower. Well, not until he introduced himself, just loud enough for her to hear it.
"I'm Ash..."
She turned around to face the unknown person who had spoken up. It was a young boy, a Ravenclaw, as she saw from his uniform. She hadn't met many boys at Hogwarts so far, and so this was quite a new experience. She smiled and waved to the boy.
"I'm Peach, nice to meet you Ash!"
She was eager to make new friends, and plus he had come to tower too, so it meant that he probably enjoyed the company of stars as much as she did. She waved him over and sat down on the ground, which was hard and cold. They should add mattresses here, and blankets, she thought to herself.
"Are you here for the stars, too? They're beautiful, aren't they? Such magnificent things, circling the earth. I find them so interesting. I wish we knew more about space. It's one of the only things we haven't explored fully, as humans. And after that, there is the ocean, which takes up most of our planet and serves as homes to such weird creatures! Isn't it crazy?"

"Peach!" Ash thought that was a fun name. His 11-year old mind went to the time a passerby in Hogsmeade had given him a peach to eat. Ash hoped his meeting Peach would be equally delightful.
"I've looked up at the stars for as long as I can remember. I used to sneak out the house late at night and into the country side to get the best views. I've always thought that each star was the spirit of someone great looking down on us." Ash hoped that in saying this he hadn't dove into a deep topic too quickly. The cool night air and shades cast by the moon invited such contemplation.
"Only the good ones become stars!" His mind was filled with stories he had been told by the Wandkeeper about the Wizarding greats. There was comfort in knowing that the world was being watched by the finest who walked the earth.
Without as much as a warning, a comet shot across the horizon. Ash had seen them before but knew the were a rarity. A comet sighting was an experience not to be missed. He'd seen wizards flick their wands and produce the effect. Nothing compared to an actual comet.
"Look a comet!" Ash asked.

Peach had never thought of it like that. It was nice to think of the stars as people that they once knew, who now were contemplating the earth and their children's children. It was quite a funny thought too, as they probably were only able to see them during the night as we are only able to see the stars during that time too. Would the moon be the soul of someone grandiose too? As it is the biggest, brightest one out there, it would be someone extraordinary, wouldn't it?
Peach smiled. Of course, it would. She nodded to the boy's words. He had seemed quite surprised when she had told him her name, which was not unusual. People were always surprised, because who would name someone after a peach? The young girl didn't quite know the origin of her name but she just guessed that her mother wanted her to be different from the others. You would guess that a girl, whose name is Peach, would be blonde with bright blue eyes and rosy cheeks, which is not the case at all. How surprising that a name can be so fitting to someone but, can be so unfitting at the same time.
"Look a comet!" the boy said. It cut short to the young girl's thoughts again, and she looked at the stars once more. She had never seen a comet in the sky. It was such a rare event that the number of people who had seen one was very small. Her eyes widened as she saw the bright thing race across the sky.
"What a beauty!" she said. "I had never seen one before. How lucky we are!"
