Ivory River

Personality:

She's quiet. People around her have a habit of not noticing her until she is either talking to them or long gone. Ivory uses this to her advantage. She knows what she's good at. She has a habit of scaring people into not talking to her as to avoid getting cornered in the hallways of anywhere else Ivory would rather not be. She hates responsibility of leadership but hates being told what to do. Thought she may be anti- social, she has a high amount of empathy. This is the weirdest part about her. Ivory has empathy for unwanted or broken objects. She also loves animals because of this empathy. She believes actions are louder than words.

Appearance:

She has shaggy, short brunette hair, with a fringe that threatens to fall into her eyes when she looks down. Seeing her with her hair tied up is rare, mainly on the fact her hair is barely long enough.

Her eyes look grey from far away but the closer you get to Ivory, the more her eyes turn a darker, olive green.

She's 5 foot 11 inches. Slightly taller than most of her year, although she apparently gets that from her father.

Ivory is lightly tan. She has very few freckles on her nose, thought you can only see them if you squint your eyes at her long enough. She has ear piercings, thought she barely wears them.

History:

Her father left before she was born and ever since then, Ivory hasn't seen her mother and her father in the same room.

Her father is tall, around 5 foot 11 inches. He has slightly paler skin, dark brown eyes and straight black hair.

Her mother is 5 foot 6 inches. She has slightly tanned skin just like Ivory, with the same light olive green (often mistaken for grey) eyes and she has curly brunette hair.

She grew up with her mother in a rather large apartment at the very centre of London, England. Ivory has a small ginger tabby tom-cat named Pumpkin with the attention span and brains of a goldfish.

First instance of magic

Her first instance of magic, was the arrival of Pumpkin into her life. Monday 25th September at 11:04 AM, Ivory River was sat by her window reading a book she had found the day before in her attic, when a loud series of noises caught her attention from across the street.

It was a group of boys shouting at each other with sticks. Ivory thought they were just messing around before realising what they were poking the sticks at. A small kitten, probably someone previous house cat who had ran away from home.

This angered Ivory as she had always loved animals, especially cats. She was not aware of what she had done. In a flash a nearby plant pot had been picked up and thrown at one of the boys heads. They were startled by the fact they did not see who though it, so they ran a few metres before passing around a street corner. She kept the cat.

Academics:

Muggle subjects:

Ivory is good at English, Chemistry, and History. She however is not good at Maths, Physical Education, and Geography. She never payed attention in muggle school so her chances of helping you with your Geography or Maths homework is very slim. She hates muggle sport.

Magical subjects:

Ivory is good at Herbology, Potions, and especially Flying. She loves flying and her favourite magical sport is Quidditch.
