Bella wasn't really sure if this was a good idea, but when she found the note, she knew she had to go.
It was the afternoon after class, and for once, Bella wasn't exploring or looking for mysteries -- she was just going back to her dorm to get her homework. And then of course, she found the note on the ground.
Technically, she didn't find. She slipped on it and almost fell.
"Oh. Seriously?" she muttered to herself as she picked it up. "Wait...ghost-hunting?" Bella read over the note and narrowed her eyes as she recognized her friend's handwriting. "Xio...what are you up to now?"
Bella paused in the middle of the hallway, knowing she should go do her homework now. But honestly, the idea of just doing stuff like that seemed very fun and tempting...
She checked the time and date. "Hmm..maybe I can just get all my homework done first and then come here!" she exclaimed, before pocketing the note and rushing off to the dungeons.
And THAT was how she found herself along several others that she knew. There was Merc, who she knew from the first day boat, as well Diana, Vivienne, Elijah, and Latoya. And of course, there was the host, the creator of this "ghost-hunting" experience, and one of her closest friends -- Xio.
"Well, this is an interesting experience! I have to say I never really ghost-hunted before...but again, this is Hogwarts, so..." Bella laughed as she looked around. "I'm excited for it!"

Tessa walked down the second floor corridor, hoping to find something to do. She was bored and wished something would happen. As she turned the corner, she noticed a group of classmates crowding around. Most of them were in her year, but in different houses.
Without meaning to, she walked closer and picked up a few phrases. Ghost huntingβ¦..partner up? That sounded fun! She stood at the side awkwardly, not knowing what to say. No one had noticed her and she didnβt want to barge in on something that might be private. She didnβt know any of them that well. The only person she kind of knew was Bella.
But would she be eager to join her. Would Tessa even be able to join?
She thought of returning to her dorm but the thought of the empty boring dorm made her shake her head. Tessa steeled herself, trying to overcome her nervousness. This might be an opportunity to make new friends!
Well, you never know! Tessa thought. So, she walked over to Bella, desperately trying to hide her nervousness, and said shyly. βHi Bella, could I join you?β She plastered a nervous smile on her face as she waited for Bellaβs answer.
