first day frustrations
There Kip had walked in the long corridors.
Of course... I mean, this was Kip's first day, and.. Kip was nervous-
well, actually, really nervous...
Left and right Kip could see people talking..
She couldn't help but feel the tiniest bit jealous of all of the friends most had already made.
'Why am I even here?' Kip thought to herself, scowling at the ground.
Kip had wanted to stay home, in her cozy, warm house, but if she had missed her first year, her mother would've been furious..
Kip shivered, letting out a small sigh and loosening that sharp scowl, her face going back into its resting mode- she looked lost in her thoughts, when the truth was, she was starting to space out- a habit she had.
Before then, the loud laughs of other students in the halls rang out- apparently a funny joke had been made- and snapped her out of her trance. Her mind started functioning correctly again, while walking to particularly nowhere.
Her mothers voice echoed in her mind- 'I wouldn't be surprised if you get slytherin,' she had said..
Well, she had said that out of spite- they had gotten in a fight the night before, and she wasn't thinking. Her mother was one stubborn lady- her dad says Kip and her mother were alike in that sense.
Of course, though, Kip had taken her words to heart, anyways-
"She was wrong, I got into Gryffindor, just like she had," Kip huffed defiantly- not realizing she had said it out loud- even if it was quiet.
...
Kip slowed down- mostly because due to her feeling irritated, she had started walking slightly faster- her mind trailing back..
After the fight she had stormed off, having her younger sister tell her she needn't to worry..
That had been the last thing she needed, hearing her younger sister say that she would get into Gryffindor, just like her family before her...
...
'whatever,' Kip thought allowed, marching off, farther into the long hallway- it seemed to lead on forever- deciding she needed to go somewhere else- anywhere else she was allowed to go, really..
Remembering there was a library or study hall she could go into just a few turns away, she took a sharp turn right.
Turning a corner quickly, of course, while not looking where you were going (she had been staring at the ground and her moving feet), was sure to end badly-
Kip was an example of this, as she bumped straight into someone.
She had already been upset before, so this just made her even more..
What was the word..
Furious, perhaps?
...
The truth was, she had had no idea where she was going- she didn't know if there was a library close by or not- she had been lying to herself, to get her moving.
She looked up in annoyance, to see the witch, wizard, or wix standing in front of her...

first day frustrations
Kip paused, taking in the sight of this new person-
She was 100% confused-
well, at least her anger was swapped with confusion..
Kip took a second, processing all the questions asked, her blue eyes matching the sparkle of her two pointed star clip in the light of the halls.
...
"I-I-.." She tried to mask her stutters with a cough, before puffing out her chest proudly.
'I was told acting proud can make me seem less small, so here it goes,' Kip thought to herself, before opening her mouth to speak-
"I wasn't lost at all! In fact, I was just heading to the library," she huffed confidently.
Really, though, if Kip hadn't been stopped, she would've ended up on the other side of the library if she hadn't been confronted.
...
"And, yeah, I am new- I'm in Gryffindor, and my name is Kip Monroy, don't forget it!" Kip made sure the word 'Gryffindor' came out loud- to make sure that she understood that she was proud to be in Gryffindor-
as if she wouldn't have settled with the houses if she hadn't been in it.
...
..Kip sounded like a stubborn little kid, in a way.
...
And also looked like one, with her cheeks now puffed out, matching her chest- she was trying to make herself look bigger and strong.
...
Waiting for her response, Kip's face flushed slightly from pure embarrassment- not that she would ever admit it, anyway...
'This is sure to convince her,' Kip thought to herself with a smirk, holding her 'loud and proud' position.

OPEN TO INTERACTIONS
It was a totally normal day at Hogwarts, and Bella Light was just walking around with her bag in hand, ready to get some studying down before homework and classes started RUSHING up like a tornado.
Turning the corner, she heard a bright, familiar, bubbly voice as well as another voice she didn't know very well. Smiling, she slipped her bag up onto her shoulders before walking faster to reach them.
It was her friend, Xio, as well as another student wearing Gryffindor robes with her cheeks and chest puffed out in a position Bella could guess was supposed to resemble confidence.
"Hey Xio! Hi!" Bella waved to the two girls who were just standing in the middle of the hall. "Xio, do you need some help with the books?" She turned to look at her friend's HUGE pile of books that looked like they were going to topple, before turning back to the other girl she didn't know. "I'm Bella Light, first year Slytherin. Nice to meet you! What's your name? I'm sure Xio already asked you that question, along with a bunch of other ones --" Bella turned to look at her friend, knowing that she is a huge question-asker. "But I hope you don't mind me asking again!"

Guys we should figure out a transition thingy- who goes first, second, third, now that there are three people- also, sorry if I keep editing my messages too much
Kip made sure to keep up with her, slowing and going faster as she did.
"I've always seen clubs as just an extra activity, I mean, who wants to do all that just for a sense of engagement," Kip huffed, announcing it loudly.
...
The truth was, Kip did want to be in clubs, but was afraid to join-
What if she messed up?-
Or, she made a mistake and was kicked off the team?
Despite wanting to seem entirely indifferent, Kip let her interest play through-
"Your brother plays Quidditch?" She perked up-
before immediately shutting up for a few seconds, to continue on with, "Not that I care, it's such a stressful sport- flying through the air to catch a ball, possibly falling off? No thanks!"
Kip didn't have a broom, and was also scared of joining as the small, first year, female student she was now..
Would come with consequences.
She couldn't help but imagine the worst-
Falling off the broom meant everyone writing her off as weak.
Going in there all nervous will make them think she isn't fit for the competitive game.
Going in too cocky or proud like usual could make some dislike her-
No, even hate her.
Just the thought of having enemies or bullies so early in the years made her want to shiver-
But she kept it in, for the sake of her dignity.
...
"I also having a few siblings, though only one has ever attended Hogwarts, and I haven't seen him since he's moved out," Scared kip had given away too much again, she bit the inside of her cheek, before releasing.
...
"Well, not that it matters," Kip looked down at the ground again, going silent.
She was thinking in her mind whether it would be easier to leave or just not talk again for the remainder of the time-
It wasn't like she was required to talk to other students, but...
At her own home, her sisters were too young to talk too about anything, and her brother.. Well, he was a brother, and she hadn't seen him since he had moved out- for the dorms, of course. She thought she would see him, as he was also in Gryffindor and in one of his last years, but..
There had been no signs of him- zero.
Which was confusing, being he was supposed to be here- she was never told otherwise.
He didn't seem like the type to be expelled...
.... "Anyways," Kip murmured- with a sigh, trying to mask the fact she had just gone silent for who knows how long.
...
"That's cool that your brother does that club and stuff- I mean, nice, whatever suits him.."
...
Her flare had gone down quite some-
almost as if she was tired, but not really?
...
Maybe Kip had been drained just from her own thoughts.
Just then, Bella Light had walked in- introducing herself and what not.
Back to the usual flare-
Kip huffed happily- "I'm Kip Monroy!"
Sure she felt it was slightly repetitive, but eventually she would have to share her name with many others, so it was fine..

Bella could already imagine the rustling of books and smell of paper as the trio neared the library. She was super excited to get into some fun books...before remembering the real reason she was going to the library: TO STUDY.
Bella groaned lightly.
"Hey, Xio, Kip. Are you guys going to read for fun or for something else? I'm getting early studying done before the hard classes all start at the same time. I really really really wanted to read a good book for fun, though..."
She glanced at Xio, then nodded.
"Oh! That's a good idea! We can all sit together, if you all would like!" Bella exclaimed, smiling. She excitedly started to walk faster, only slowing down when she realized that she was starting to pull ahead of the other two.
And then...finally, after what seemed like a long time but was actually quite short, Bella was staring at the large, grand doors of the library. She sighed in happiness, realizing how weird the other two probably thought she was, just by looking at her, but she couldn't care. What could she say? The library felt like home away from home, no matter where she went. They are all the same, yet so different. Full of books, yet never-ending mysteries to explore.
"Ready?" she asked, then pushed open the heavy doors to reveal the room inside.

Kip had been trailing behind the two as they entered the library, thinking over what had just happened-
One second she was angrily prowling through the halls, the next, following their lead- how crazy was that?
It was like with their sudden kindness, they struct her defensiveness down- which was weird, because, usually this wouldn't happen..
Her Auburn colored hair swished lightly behind her, as she took in how many books there were.. Too many, if you asked her.
She was okay with reading, but easily got mixed up with all the words- that's why she prefers drawing more.
...
She listened to the two girls talk- starting to become even more confused.
Well, of course she was- Who wouldn't be?
Ahem. Anyways. After the mention of Quidditch, her mind continued to work- trying to figure out what to say next- pumping out ideas that never reached the air.
She was scared that if she talked, she would ruin how happy they were- Sure, she was stubborn, but not.. Or, at least, not trying to be someone mean. Really.
Well, she started to actually pay attention to the words being spoken by the others, as she fidgeted with her hands, her blue eyes focused on the ground- she felt so small in that moment- and she didn't like it.
She could only wait, hoping this interaction would end soon..

Sorry for such a long wait + shorter response- also, since we are in the library, do we create another thread for the library or just stay here if we won't be in this setting for very long?
