ERUMPENT ENCOUNTER
Under the late afternoon sun, students were ushered to the outside portion of the Wildlife and Nature Class area. The Wildlife and Nature classes allow students to explore the barns and paddocks where the school boasts a variety of magical and mundane animals. Today the students were going to be treated to a guest, an alum of Uagadou who went on to become a well respected magizoologist, Tau Ndlovu. Nadira and Tau walked up to the front of the group of students who had gathered for today's last event. Nadira smiled before she began speaking.
"Hello everyone, today we will be learning more about different creatures, specifically some we have housed here. And as a special treat you will be able to work with a student who graduated from Uagadou, Tau Ndlovu. Tau would you like to say a few words before we begin?"
Nadira passed it over to Tau who stood nearly a foot taller than Nadira. With his impressive stature it was easy to almost feel intimidated by him but as he began speaking everyone would soon see he was friendly and truly passionate about his field.
"Today we will begin by looking at some smaller creatures, like the Bowtruckle and Flobberworm then move on to some others like Fire Crab, Diricawl and Porlock." He listed the creatures out before a smirk came onto his face.
"Lastly, as a not so little surprise for you all, you will all be able to come with me and meet our very own Erumpent!" As Tau looked out over the surprised and excited faces of the students before him he became even more excited to show off his knowledge on all of the creatures.
"We also have an area set up where you can meet some of our non magical animal friends, some chickens, cows, goats and boars. Feel free to ask me any questions and please remember to be respectful to our little friends we are meeting today."
