It was a cold day. The sort of day where it is common sense to wear an extra layer underneath your clothing, which is what she had done.

Ivory had decided that a trip out to the great lake before the choas of thousands of students made the hogwarts grounds a nightmare. She found a quiet spot not far from the lake and sat down. Opening her satchel, she took out a book. It had the words 'Quidditch Through The Ages' written on it in gold letters. She had always wanted to play quidditch. Ever since she was little. Her father was a huge quidditch fan as well. Ivory never saw her father, he left before she was born. She was a half-blood. Her mum a muggle, her dad a wizard. Father never told her mum he was a wizard. They fell out. Now her mother and father decided without her permission that Ivory was to stay at her father's since he 'would be able to support her better' because of his magical background. She doubted very much, seeing as he wasn't there in the first place.

A droplet hit her face. She looked up, to see rain clouds had covered the sky before she could even read her book. Ivory covered her book quickly as to not get it wet, picked up her bag and left. Maybe next time.
