Winter Wonderland Solo Finished

Samna walked outside of Hogwarts to get some fresh air. She breathed in the cold, winter air like it was the smell of freshly baked muffins. She pulled the strings of her fluffy winter coat tighter. Looking around to see if anyone else was watching her, she scurried off to a secluded area. A lonesome, bare tree sat on a snow covered hill overlooking the beautiful Scotland winter. Winter was always her favorite season. Every time it snowed back at home, Samna would stare out the window for hours until her sister would start making fun of her for it. Finding a semi-dry spot under the tree, she sat down. Samna stared up at the sky, wishing she could fly up there like a bird. The clouds looked so fluffy. She wished she could sleep on one. The sky looked like it was painted by a famous artist. After admiring the scenery for a while, Samna began humming a familiar tune. It was a song her parents sung to her long ago. The lyrics were lost with time. A single, silent tear fell from her eye onto her cheek. She couldn't deny it. Samna was homesick. She'd never been away from her family for so long. The tear froze and clung to her cheek, but it didn't bother her. Being in the cold had never bothered her. She could probably be out there without a coat, but she didn't want to get sick. Sighing, Samna flicked the tear away and continued to marvel at the wonders of the outside. It then started to snow. ❆
