Whenever Bella has something on her mind, she likes to dance it out. And it wasn't like she was stressed, not really, but rather, there was a lot of new things. She just needed some normality, some time to think about everything that happened the last few weeks since the start of the school year.

Quietly taking out her precious ballet shoes from a box, she walked over to the fourth floor, which is the famed ballroom that everyone had been talking about. As she reached the room, she took a deep breath and pushed open the door.

It was beautiful. Spectacular in a way she never thought it could be. There was a chandelier with white diamonds and amber dangling overhead, a stage, and... portraits of famous dancers. Bella groaned.

"Oh, come on. Are you going to comment on my dancing again?" Bella muttered, glaring at the portraits, who just gave her a great beaming smile. She rolled her eyes playfully, because in truth, she found the portraits amusing and interesting. She would never say that out loud, though.

She sat down and gently placed on her ballet shoes and stood in the middle of the stage. She had just started dancing when she heard the doors creak open...

Speech/Thoughts/Other Speech

I always wanted to start dancing again, but have never found the time. But today was a different day; I was ready to dance even if I was tardy for all of my lessons. Well, fine. Not to that extent. But I still was prepared to do the unthinkable and leave homework for tomorrow. Even though it was pretty easy homework, just at the moment I couldn't remember it. How sad.

As I walked toward the Ballroom, I decided to practice some ballet basics. First a nice plié, then a graceful pirouette, and another, and another. All without getting dizzy. Then proceed with a pas de chat or two. Then a quick glissade, and back on my way.

With my pointe shoes in hand and a nice, cute bag for my things slung on my shoulder, I strolled toward the Ballroom on the Fourth floor. As I walked through the corridors my heart throbbed harder and harder with hope. By the time I got to the Fourth floor it felt like it might burst with excitement.

I had already changed into a fit outfit for dancing. I put my things on the floor outside; I wanted to be ready when entering the great and magnificent Ballroom. I and the only thing left to do was put on my pointe shoes. I slipped them on and quietly entered, only to find another person already there
