Zara is 150 cm tall. She has blue eyes, with freckles across her face. She has dark brown hair that sits just below her shoulders. Her hair is in a sort of shaggy hair cut, similar to a wolf cut. Her eyes hold curiosity more than anything. That is the first thing most people notice about her. When not wearing her robes, she is is often seen in over sized hand-me-downs from her sister (with a few sweaters from Leo).


Zara is very cunning yet sweet. She has no issues standing up for what she thinks is right. Zara sometimes has issues trusting people when she opens up, she will be loyal til the end. She loves to read, but not for school just for her own pleasure. She also loves collecting random little trinkets to symbolize a story. She keeps them all in a memory box. Zara is never scared to ask questions and often finds herself deeply enveloped with her conversations when she finds something interesting. She is very outgoing on the surface yet deep down finds herself worried and overthinking herself.


Both of her parents, Henry and Morgan are pure bloods. They met outside of Hogwarts since their families were friends from when they both were born. They went to Hogwarts together and even though they were put in different houses (Henry in Ravenclaw and Morgan in Hufflepuff), their friendship grew stronger. So strong that after the graduated they decided to get married, settle down and open a bookshop together. They had all 3 kids about 2-3 years apart and raised them obviously within the Wizarding world, but kept their appreciation for non-wizard folk items. They never hated non-wizards or even looked down on them, they often found themselves enamored with how non-wizard folk lived. That curiosity was passed down to Zara and helped make her who she is now.


Before Hogwarts, Zara spent a lot of her time in her parents book store. She went to an all girls non-wizard school before Hogwarts and loved it. There was a part of her that was okay with her not being a wizard. When she wasn't in school she found herself helping at the store. Well, helping is a loose term. She attempted to stock books when asked but often she would sit next to her mother at the check out and comment on the books people bought. Through this she found herself connecting with lots of the older people who came in who loved her comments. Her favorite was an older woman who she called Granny May. She wan’t actually her Gran but to Zara she might as well been.


When Zara was 6, she broke one of Esme’s favorite mugs. It was one Esme had made with her best friends for her 9th birthday. Upset, Zara tried to pick up all the pieces. She felt horrible to do that to her sister's favorite item. In the midst of doing so, all of the pieces flew together and magically mended itself, safely landing in Zara's hands after it was repaired. The Blackwoods had a feeling she would be magical and this confirmed it.
