Personality: Ginny is intelligent and well-read, and unafraid to speak her mind. She's a bookworm, artist and runner. She often speaks before she thinks and has gotten in trouble due to her impulsive behaviour. Despite setbacks, Ginny is determined and refuses to give up until she is satisfied with her efforts.
History: Ginny’s parents, Jamie and Maddie, are both pureblood and met at Hogwarts. It was an interesting journey as they transitioned from classmates to friends to lovers to parents. Maddie was in Ravenclaw, and Jamie was in Gryffindor, and they fought together in the Wizarding War. A few years later, they had Ginny, and the family settled in London.
Before Hogwarts: As a pureblood, Ginny was raised with a full understanding of the wizarding world. She was homeschooled, and still managed to make plenty of friends, both magical and Muggle. Ginny’s father works in the Muggle Department at the Ministry, and his knowledge gave Ginny an unusual relationship with the Muggle world. She has always been intelligent, and her parents were certain that she would be sorted into Ravenclaw.
First Instance of Magic: Ginny was 3 years old when she had her FIOM. She was on the swings at the park near her house with her parents, and it was time to leave. She didn't want to, and when her mother tried to pick Ginny up, a huge gust of wind literally picked her up and carried her away from the child. Both of her parents are magic, so they had been expecting her to show signs of magic. They were thrilled, even though Ginny had just blown her mother down the street.
