Letter home

Date: 2nd September 2026

Hello Mom and Dad,
Hope you're doing well. I have reached Hogwarts safely last night. Yesterday was a very eventful day! I met 2 new people on my ride to Hogwarts and learnt a lot about them. On the evening, when we reached Hogwarts, we took a boat ride to the school. It was fun! The caretaker was the one who led us to the school.

The first view of the school was just extraordinary. I found myself just staring at the castle for about 5 minutes and still couldn't take my eyes of it. It was just gorgeous.

During the Sorting Ceremony, I was sorted into Ravenclaw as I was hoping to be! I tried memorising the routes in the castle, but wasn't able to sadly. It took me a lot more time to reach the Owlery than expected. I'll be using the Marauder's Map to find my way anyhow. Ignore that.

How are you doing? By the way, this will be the first letter Minerva will be sending! I hope she reaches you safely! Hoping to see your mail soon!!
