Department of Magical Transportation
The Department of Magical Transportation was responsible for various aspects of magical transport. Perhaps the destination itself wasn’t as important to them as the journey, but this possibly also translated into traveling. Traveling was a journey and that was what this year’s summer camp planning committee had connected with the task at hand.
On a fresh Scottish summer morning, an area of the campgrounds had been set up with tables and benches. Various colored journals, old newspapers, photos, magazines with beautiful nature pictures, stickers, glue, maps, cloths, luggage tags and so on had been prepared and were ready to be used.
The task at hand was simply to create a travel journal. Whether the students had barely ever left their home country or already went half across the world, they had most definitely all taken some sort of transportation and could create a fun, cute little journal on their journeys.
They could choose to cover a journey their character had already taken, a place they had always wanted to visit, a particularly memorable trip or even a magical transportation disaster they would rather forget.
The journal could contain sketches, maps, observations, recommendations, memories, photographs, tickets, magical transportation mishaps or anything else a traveller might collect along the way. Anything that was provided on the tables could be used.
