Dear recipient,
I hope this letter finds you well wherever you are and whoever you might be! This would be my first on sending a letter to wherever the owl takes it but I'm sure that the contents would not be a bore don't you fret!
Now my apologies if this looks a tad bit causal but I'm Angel Dayes! A student that attends Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry well I suppose we don't do strange stuff that's for sure! Only dark wizards like Voldemort probably did centuries or decades ago! (I am muggle raised, so witchcraft or wizardry is extremely strange in that light and context from the community and I agree with that sentiment especially those who dable with the dark stuff!!)
Oh excuse my drolly! I'm just trying to set the tone, no need to be serious as you read further down, but to get things started I would like to ask what your name is? If you prefer aliases or pseudonyms I don't mind that either!
Best,

@Percy Todd Duplenticy

Angel Dayes,
What lovely penmanship you have! I've never seen such nice girl handwriting before. This letter was quite a shock to me, I can not lie. Not an unwelcome one, but finding a letter this morning was such a delight.Your owl must be very tired after traveling all the way to the United States, I know I was when I went all the way to Europe this summer.
My name is Percy Todd Duplenticy. Percy Todd is my first name, not my first and middle. Most people hear it and assume it's either that or my full name. Then I have to describe the truth of it all. Hogwarts is such a silly sounding name, I met some of your classmates and they said it in such a funny way. I'm sure the way you say it is just as funny too!
I'm not sure what the dark arts are either. I'm a Muggle too! At least I do believe, sometimes here at Ilvermorny they call them No-Majs, or Non Magics. All of this wand stuff is rather interesting, I must admit. I'm from Colorado, and a rather small part of it. So these potions and teleportation spells and whatnot do seem like something out of one of my favorite comic books.
I have a twin brother, his name is Corbin. He doesn't go to Ilvermorny, unfortunately. I wish he did. Instead, he's at home playing baseball and Mario kart while I'm stuck in a school uniform waving around a magical stick. What is your family like? The few British people I've met have been very interesting, and I'm sure you will as well.
Thank you for your unexpected letter, I do hope to hear from you soon. I fed the owl you sent a couple blueberries from my lunch before his journey!

Percy Todd Duplenticy! That's such a very unique name even knowing Percy Todd is actually your first name too! Very peculiar indeed!
Thank you for the compliment by the way, I've always took pride in making sure my writing is neat. Your penmanship isn't that half bad either, I can tell your more used to writing in pencil along with print, I'm more of a curisve lass with using quill and ink haha! Many have praised me for being tidy with many things..
As for my school's name, I have to admit it's quite peculiar to say, but your school sounds pretty intriguing too, I pronounce it as "liver-moh-knee" but I think you guys in North America pronounce it much stronger but that's maybe because of my voice.
Truth be told, I'm actually a halfbreed, a Dhampir they call me someone with vampire and human roots! No no, I'm not Edward Cullens from Twilight and I don't drink blood, I'm a normal human just with a little perks that's all. But I am muggle raised so being in Hogwarts or a magical school in general was quite puzzling to say the least.
I was raised as an only child in Caerphilly Wales, but I can infer that having a sibling can be daunting sometimes! My family is a small one with my mother and father, they seem to be quite swell with the idea their daughter will be somewhere off in a cool institution.
I've always wanted to visit the US one day, North America in general actually! Canada, Mexico and the United States. I don't think jet lag will have it though but I like traveling so I might stop over at Ilvermorny if there is some international events going on. But speaking of Ilvermorny what's it like? Do first years go through a sorting? I was sorted into Slytherin, known for being cunning, shrewd, and ambitious. Unfortunately the house is notorious for brewing bad wizards and witches alike. Times change and I doubt there is any bad apples.
PS: thanks for feeding my owl, I gave yours some nuts and blueberries!
Best,
