Dear... You,
It is a perfectly normal letter which I am sending to you for perfectly normal reasons. Please disregard the fact that you most likely have no idea what this letter is about. I was bored.
Really bored. Bored to the point that I started looking at my own hands for ideas and concluded that it was time to do something else. So I have decided to draw people. You have been chosen. Do not ask why – I don't even know myself. But if you find yourself free at some point, maybe you could come to the courtyard? I have my sketchbook, pencils, charcoal and quite a bit of parchment with me. I will make an actual proper drawing of you or, if you prefer something more interesting, I have face paints and I will paint something ridiculous on your face.
It is up to you. Or you can decide not to come at all and pretend as if this letter was never received. I will understand, and I might be slightly offended, but it will be fine. There are no strings attached. I do not want anything from you. I do not want you to join something. I have just decided to draw people because sitting around being bored is not very entertaining and I like showing people my drawings once I finish them.
Plus, if you decide to come, please do not move. Well, that is not true. Move as much as you want, because I will just pout and ask you to stay still. In any case, the courtyard whenever you are free. I will be there with everything I need waiting to see if it was a great idea or a terrible idea to send four owls at random.
A great idea, hopefully.
With excitement,
Evander Harvey Beauchamp
