Music and Mentors
| t felt good to be back in the castle, back to somewhere peaceful, somewhere she could practice her instrument in peace. But there was a problem with that logic. She was in her third year and the teachers expected so much of them, not to mention, the extra classes |
Sheet music, her music stand, and most importantly, her viola in hand (she didn't need a chair, there was plenty where she was going) Ellie set off to the fourth floor with a purpose. She hadn't had time to practice and she was going to take this free day and use it. She must have make quite the sight, her music stand was rather obtuse and very out of place in the castle.
It was after lunch and a rather nice day so many other students where outside, making the castle almost empty. It was perfect. No risk of anyone hearing her, almost no risk of anyone else practicing.
She got to the room and set up. Ellie picked a chair, placed her music stand down in front of it. She placed her music down and began playing. Finally, peace. Finally, her joy and of course, finally, practice!
