It was a nice day today. Karime had just finished the school day as it was her 8th day of her second year at Hogwarts. She couldn't believe she was a second year now. She reflects back to her first year. The people she meets, her classes, events she was a part of and the moments she had with Cosmo, her cat. But for some reason today she was feeling a bit alone. She was in a corner of the courtyard just sitting against the wall of one of the arch windows. She was facing the fountain in the middle next to the tree that looked a bit like a cheery blossom with its red leaves. There were some kids passing by since classes were over. Going to study, meeting friends, sports but Karime just stayed hidden. She was deciding if she wanted to journal or play some music on her guitar. Over the summer break she was learning more on how to play. Her singing had gotten better too but playing the guitar her brother had gotten her for her 8th birthday (Which was actually her abuelo’s) was new as she was putting it off. Why you may ask? Well cause singing and music was a bit part of what she would do with her abuelo and so when he passed away it was hard for her to be into music. More playing it as she had promised her abuelo that she would learn how to play the guitar.

Karime sighed softly as she looked at the guitar and picked it up. She put the strap over her shoulder and closed her eyes as she started to play it. She was just playing the notes as if muscle memory. Remembering what her abuelo had taught her. The song she was strumming was the one they would sing together. When Karime got the hang of the cords and melody she started to sing softly. She could feel the wind against her hair as she sang and played. She felt her body relaxed and she smiled as she played but she also felt some coldness on her cheeks as tears of happiness not sad.
