Lily Isobel McCoire. Fifth year duellist. Or so she'd like to say . It had been a bit since she had dueled and that's why she found herself in the Duelling Club on a Saturday afternoon, when she would rather be hanging out with her brothers. But nooooo the good McCoire was sitting here watching others duel. One group caught her eye and she turned her head to look. She was friends with both, one a second year Ravenclaw Fawkes Chaos, one of Lily's own friends. . She knew that Fawkes was a powerful duellist, since she had moderated several duels with Fawkes in it. The second person was a second year Slytherin. Amalie Leclerc. She looked like she was new to dueling but hey, this was definitely one way to practice! Especially against a dueling captain! She was also a second year. Well, Lily thought to herself. This should be interesting. Two second years duelling against each other. Lily sat back with her drink and wished that she had popcorn. But alas, popcorn was not meant to be! But at least she would be watching fireworks, figuratively speaking. But hey, who knows? Maybe there will be actual fireworks. She looked forward to it.

It was way more often than the average person that's for sure. Then again, the average person also didn't duel as much as she had in the last month. But she loved duelling so she really couldn't complain much. More practice the better as she always said.
She walked up to take her spot and took a minute to identify her opponent. She didn't exactly recognise her opponent though. The most she knew about the girl opposite her was that she was in Slytherin. Fawkes seemed to be meeting quite a lot of them Slytherins in the last few months. It was like she was a slytherin magnet almost. Strange indeed.
But now was not the time to ponder about her slytherin magnet abilities. Now was the time to ponder about duelling and how to beat her opponent. She smiled sweetly over at the other girl May the best duellist win She giggled before taking her duelling stance. The different spells she knew cycled in her head before she landed on the one she would use. She raised her wand ready to cast her spell.
