A Wand of My Own Solo

The bell tinkled as I nervously walked into Ollivanders, holding my breath to see what would come next.
"Ahh, Amanda, I've been awaiting you." The speaker was a old man - Ollivander. "Do come in."
I stepped into the old and cluttered store, wondering how Ollivander didn't lose his mind, amidst all the mess.
"What do you need? Now then..." Ollivander then proceeded to pull out a long, narrow box, which upon opening, was found out to contain a wand. A long, thin dark wand with some swirls on the end.
"Here, try this dear. It might do. Go on, give it a wave." I waved the wand about hopefully, this way and that way, and ending with a sharp jab. Nothing happened. My heart sank.
"No..no, That won't do... here... try this one." Said Ollivander as he pulled out another box, a bit dustier. I waved the wand. It shuddered.
"Oh, no, definitely not! Cheer up, we'll find you a wand. Ah yes, I should have seen this before."
Ollivander handed me another wand, this time lighter wood than the first, also with swirls on the bottom. I tried it out. Suddenly the whole room glowed with light coming from the wand.
"Of course, this is the wand that picked you Amanda, take good care of it."
I purchased the wand and left the shop, my heart full of happiness.

"Do what you were born to do, it doesn't matter whose watching, because those who care don't matter, and those who matter, don't care.
