On my way
I loaded my trunk into its place, got on the train, picked an empty compartment, and waved goodbye to my parents, who were waving enthusiastically at me, even a bit over-enthusiastically, as the train departed from Platform 9 3/4. As I stopped waving, I felt tears dripping down my face. I quickly wiped them on my sleeve. But not tears of sadness. Oh No! Those were tears of excitement and happiness, which quickly dried on my sleeve and face, leaving no trace that I ever cried even a bit.
From the day that I knew what Hogwarts was, I couldn't wait to get on the Hogwarts Express, I was excited and prancing around the house, happy with glee. But when I got my Hogwarts letter I was overjoyed!
Now, while sitting in the train, in a compartment of my own, with nobody to bother me, butterflies started sprouting in my tummy, telling me to go back and never get on the train again, but I didn't listen to the butterflies; I was determined to be the best student in my year, and I didn't care about all the hard work; I was determined to be the best Hogwarts has ever seen.
Interrupting these fantastic thought came the Trolley witch, from whom I bought nothing owing to the toast I had brought from home.
Finally, when the long journey was over, I got off the train, and feasted my eyes on the brilliant sight of Hogwarts castle, I was home.
