The Express

Ivory looked in wonder at the Hogwarts Express, her mother right behind her.
"Wow, your father grew up taking this train to school...it's so...pretty. Anyway, you'll be fine right?" Ivory's mother said, looking up at the train before looking down at her.
"Yea, I'll be fine...don't worry I'll send you some letters! And I'll be home for christmas. Anyway, I'd better find a seat before all the good seats are taken." Ivory said, picking up her trunk and walking towards the train.
She got on, making her way to the back of the train. She found an empty compartment, opening the door and entering. She put her trunk up on one of the old shelves, before closing the door.
She made her way to the window, looking out just as the train departed. She saw her mother out of the train window, and she waved. She was finally on her way to hogwarts. Finally she was able to meet fellow wizards and witches. She has never met another witch or wizard before.
Ivory reached into her pocket and pulled out two peppermint toads and squashed packet of jelly slugs. She lay them down on the seat next to her and reached into her other jean pocket and pulled out a sticky caramel and a lemon sherbet, also placing them on the seat beside her. She didn't want the sweets she had bought to go to waste in case she accidentally crushed them.
All of a sudden, the compartment door slid open.
