Saanvika Thota, First Year, Hufflepuff

Appearance:

Saanvika has a mop of dark hair, where she only ties her hair for special occasions and when her mom tells her too. She has dark eyes that no one can see through but would reflect everything. She tends to wear the color blue often, and her favorite cloth is denim. Out of her school uniform, you will more likely see her in jeans and a hoodie or the new clothes she sewed.

Personality:

Saanvika prefers to be alone in the common room in the chair closest to the fire with a book in hand. She really enjoys Indian food, especially the street food, and she is vegetarian. Saanvika is also VERY messy and forgetful. Homework is her biggest enemy when it comes to forgetfulness. She tends to have books stacked everywhere, mostly muggle books or her schoolbooks. She is also quite clumsy and moody sometimes. However, Saanvika LOVES trying new stuff and will sometimes break the rules to have fun.

Before Hogwarts:

Before Hogwarts, Saanvika used to be the topper in class. Her family is really supportive but is strict when it comes to studying. She is often found in the library or in the art room. She also wishes to have a fresh start here at Hogwarts as some of her muggle friends have betrayed her, and she is officially a laughingstock at school. She is in a middle-class family, and loves annoying her older brother, who is about to go to muggle college. Her family pushes her to practice math often, which Saanvika hates for her life. Saanvika has a horrible fear of failure and she is claustrophobic. She loves muggle music, which is one thing she is reluctant to leave at home. Saanvika is addicted to romance novels and watching low-quality TV shows. She also enjoys realism sketching and coloring. Saanvika never learned how to write and read her mother tongue, Telugu, but she hopes to learn it once she is back for her summer and winter holidays. Saanvika says all the insults in her mind but all the nodding and obeying on the outside. She is scared to show her true feelings, as people might joke and control her more.


First Incident of Magic:

Saanvika's first incident of magic happened when she was 9 years old. She was on the balcony, practicing her new dance routine, as she was performing for her school's Spring Concert. She got really angry as she couldn't get one singular step. She stomped her feet in frustration, when the wind caught her and gently dropped her on the roof.
