Rusty's first Care of Magical Creatures class──────────────────────────────────────────── ✧
Every new year at Hogwarts beings something new. New friends, new secret corridors and rooms, and even new classes. Third years at Hogwarts, like Rusty, were required to take new classes like Divination and Care of Magical Creatures.
Rusty was not very excited about this. While other students saw it as an opportunity to learn new things, Rusty saw it as another class that will give homework.
Great. Now I'll have even less time to focus on Quidditch training.
It was a warm summer day on the 2nd day of school. Rusty made his way down to the Hogwarts grounds with the rest of his class. Everyone seemed pretty excited to see all the new wonderful creatures. Even Rusty cracked a small smile as the warm sun hit his face. At least this class wouldn't be in another boring classroom!
Rusty kept his soft smile as Professor @Akeem Toussaint introduced himself. Most professors are old and boring, but this guy seemed cool. He was very tall, and he was a Slytherin just like Rusty.
The first lesson wasn't to exciting. At one point, they talked about Phoenixes, which actually sounded slighting interesting to Rusty. Maybe these new classes wouldn't be the worst thing in the world!
