Summer Camp? Solo

From the desk of Lorelei Witte
Dearest mother and father,

I hope this letter finds the both of you very well! I apologize I have not been nearly as good about regularly writing letters as I promised I would be, but I've been much busier than I expected towards the end of my first year.
Things have been going quite well in the past few months! I have remained well on top of my homework, and although not all of my grades are in yet, so far I have solid O's on every assignment! We also had a career day recently, where students could go around and explore potential options for the future. The purpose of this letter is connected to said career day.
I don't believe this was a thing when you attended Hogwarts, father, but I have heard from fellow students that there is a summer camp each August for students who attend wizarding schools all around the world. This year, the camp is all about learning about branches of the Ministry of Magic and experiencing what it would be like to work there!
While I understand that I already spent so many months away from home during the school year, I was wondering if it would be alright if I signed up to attend this camp. I feel as though it is an incredible opportunity to learn more about my future career options, and I believe it would be worthwhile to attend, even though it means cutting my summer holiday short.
Let me know if this would be alright.

With much love,

Lorelei Witte
P.S. Please give my love to Surena and Maisie!
