History/Background Story: My life pre-Hogwarts was so fun. I grew up in Croydon England with my parents and the family cat, Poppy, a black and orange tabby. I read a lot, mostly Dr. Seuss and Peter Rabbit when I was little then I started to read The Series Of Unfortunate Events and James Herriot’s Treasury For Children, and my mum who is a muggle took me to the library a lot, we had fun checking out joke books and annoying dad with so many knock knock jokes. My dad who is a wizard taught me how to play Quidditch, we threw a quaffle around the back yard and on the weekends we usually went to the park to play basketball (he let me win when I was little)or went to the skate park to attempt to teach me how to skate board which I figured out eventually around my 9th birthday after quite a few minor wipeouts and only one bad injury. My gran ( dad’s mum, also a wizard ) came to visit during the holidays, she had such cool stories from the past and old folk tales. My dad is an auror at the ministry of magic, he has light brown eyes and black hair. My mum is an author of futuristic teen fiction science fiction novels, she has dark brown eyes and reddish-brown hair. My best friend is named Nova, she is a year older than me, she’s also a prankster and we were always up to trouble together, mostly just annoying the old man next door with silly questions about the sky being orange or some other outrageously silly thing. We all listened to rock and roll music and I was able to figure out how to play some of our favorite songs on the guitar, such as California Dreamin’, Seven Nation Army and Home on the Range. Life at home was fun and my parents were always telling jokes and teaching me a lot about everything from astronomy to history to geology, philosophy became a fun hobby and we wrote quotes down from famous poets and movies and pinned them to the walls such as “Laugh hard, run fast, be kind” from Doctor Who, and “The woods are lovely, dark and deep, but I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep, and miles to go before I sleep.” by Robert Frost.
First Instance of Magic: I was five years old when my first instance of accidental underaged wandless magic happened, it was when I was running around some trees and tried to climb one, the branch was too high for me to reach but my magic kicked in and the root that I was standing on suddenly came slightly out of the ground and got me high enough to reach the branch.
