Liza's day in Muggle London

Liza walked out of her grandmother's flat and onto the warm London air. It had only been a few days since she had arrived in London... And it had all started with a letter. A letter, delivered by an owl, claiming that Liza was to attend a magic school in London. Liza had eccentric parents, so of course they were delighted at the odd letter. At once, they insisted Liza go to London, with her grandmother to get her supplies and so she could be prepared to board the train for school. And now, Liza had a trunk full of odd stuff shoved in the corner of her grandmother's living room. A cauldron, cloak, and best of all, a wand. All of it was real. As she walked the city of London, watching people bustle about the street, she wondered how many were witches or wizards in disguise? How many knew of the mystical secrets hidden within this gray city? She remembered the astonishment she had felt when the bricks in that dingy alley transformed into a doorway, which led to an amazing world. A world of color, excitement, and most of all, magic. She had only seen a little bit of the magical world but was now yearning for more. She walked into the park and sat down on a creaky swing, pushing with her legs as she pondered how this new world worked. Was there a government, and other schools? Was she the only, what is it called, Muggle-born, or were there more? She yearned to hop on the train and go to Hogwarts right now... But she had to wait, only a couple weeks... But it seemed like forever.
