─────It was his first time he was really alone ever since he got the letter. He was scared of the future but also excited about it. He was not sure that what was gonna happen. What house would he be in? Or what friends he'd end up makin? Everyhing was new and scary. He walked through the train to look for a place to sit. The places seemed to be all full. Until he reached one where only one boy was sitting.
"May I sit here with you?" He asked politely. "Everywhere else is full." He added. He had a small bag with him and a big one with his stuff. Two bags with a small boy for the time he was going to spend in the School. He was eager to learn about magic as he had not been a part of the magical society. He was a muggle born and his parents were shocked to say the least when his magic showed and when 3 years later professors arrived to tell them about him being a wizard.
Lucian was wearing a casual shirt and jeans and was ready for the adventure ahead. He was not sure what else he could be excited about. He was wanting his first year to be amazing in this place.

The Shy Kid!

It had been only several moments when the Hogwarts Express left the station, several moments when Colette waved goodbye to her parents, and several moments when her first thought upon boarding the Express was to look for a place for herself. The inside of the train, after everyone had boarded, was extremely crowded, to say the least. The narrow hallways packed with magical kids navigating through countless cabins, finding a place where they might be interested in sitting in for the rest of their journey to Hogwarts. A lot of the cabins Colette had passed by when she was walking through the hallway were already filled with a group of kids laughing and chatting amongst each other with a warm sense of familiarity. Her upperclassmen, she assumed, as she took quick glances inside them before continuing to look for an empty spot.

After what seemed like an eternity, she found an empty cabin. Not a single pupil inside. With a sigh of relief, she slid open the door, placed her luggage on the seat and sat beside it by the window seat. She looked out, pondering quietly to herself.
Colette was starting to think all sorts of things. She started thinking about what her life would be like at Hogwarts. How she would keep up with her unusual classes. Would she make friends? Or would she stay quiet during her entire stay for the next seven years of her life? Now, being alone never bothered Colette. But being alone in an unfamiliar place filled with unfamiliar faces...for seven years? Absolute torture. The thought made Colette shudder to herself.
She decided to distract herself from thinking further. It was quite a curse having to overthink almost every single little thing. Zip. She opened the luggage beside her. She took out a book from inside, already bookmarked and sticky tabbed on various pages. It wasn't an academic textbook or any book about the Wizarding World, but a Muggle fiction book she brought with her (along with many others in a separate trunk). It would be funny, she thought, if a pureblood would see a book like this, learning about the genre, and see their confused expressions trying to piece together an unusual plot made from a muggle's mind.
It was already starting to sound like a peaceful trip for her—book in hand, alone in a cabin, and the perfect scenery beside the window.
That was until she heard the cabin door open, revealing a boy just about her age.
He had just asked her if he may sit with her in the cabin for the rest of the trip.
Colette looked at the boy with a quick glance, noticing how he looked kind of lost and unused with his environment. How he was clearly wearing a casual shirt and a pair of jeans, something she never usually saw a pureblood kid wearing.
"You may," Colette responded with a little nod. She watched the kid sit on the opposite side of where she was as he sets his own luggage aside. This boy was the very first person she interacted with upon entering the Express on the way to Hogwarts. She didn't want to seem rude or make the air awkward with the silence, so after several moments of deliberating to herself, she looked at him again.
"I'm Colette, by the way. Colette Sanchez," she says to him, introducing herself properly. "I'm a first year...and I hope I'm correct to assume that you also are."
