Finally after one year of being at Hogwarts, Lauren was back home. Her parents just picked her up from Platform 9 3/4 and was excited to tell them all about how amazing Hogwarts was. Unfortunately for most, but not her, there was homework to be done. But Lauren, bingeing a nerd, did not mind that at all. Actually Lauren liked that there was homework. Being a muggle- born, she knew absolutely nothing about Hogwarts, spells and potions, or flying broomsticks. The only ones she used to know was Cinderella, Snow White, and other commonly known muggle fairy tales.
Upon reaching her house doorstep, she was greeted with the familiar chaos of her four siblings. But, there was something different about them. But Lauren could not quite tell. She saw her elder brother, Sam, who was turning sixteen this year, immediately grabbed his pillow and threw it at her. Lauren, not being as athletic as him, got smacked right in the face with the pillow.
"How's being a... s-scary witch like!?"
Lauren had heard the sarcasm in his voice and simply rolled her eyes at how immature he was acting.
Honestly, Hogwarts is so cool! But not like he cares...
"Hey, by the way Sam, where is Charlie?"
"Oh Charlie? He is at his school still training. Honestly I swear that guy never sleeps or rests or eat! I have zero idea on how he survives!"
She took Luna, her pet bunny out of her cage, and Luna was scooped up by her younger sister, Ella. She giggled softly as Ella tried to give Luna carrots.
