First day

[Open] Primrose sat on the train to Hogwarts, anxiously awaiting her arrival to the mighty castle she had heard so much about. She wiped her hands on her dress and smoothed down her hair and fiddled with her pearl earrings. She gives a little jump as her best friend Alaric bangs on the carriage door. "You scared me you idiot!" Primrose exclaims at him. He slides cooly onto the opposite bench. "Sorry! How are you feeling?" He questions, "I'm... nervous. But I'll be fine!" I stutter. Alaric sees right through me, "Look, whatever happens we will always be together. Even if we get put in separate houses, I'll still love you." I giggle, "Likewise. Unless you're in Slytherin!" We both chuckle and he jumps to sit next to me. I put my head on his shoulder and I I seemed to doze off and I later awoke as I felt a jolt of the train stopping at the station. "We are here already?" I question and a loud whistle sounds from outside. "FIRST YEARS THIS WAY!" Alaric chuckles and helps me up as I am still a little sleepy.
Usually I'm quite a confident person, but these last few years have been trying. Alaric clutches my hand and we make our way to where the sound seemed to be coming from. I squeeze Alaric's hand and we begin to go start this new chapter of our lives together. At least I'm not alone. I'm excited to make some new friends and start my classes!
