Official Sports

Hogwarts.io offers three official sports, each with its own rules, strategies, and gameplay.

• Quidditch
• Duelling
• Broom Racing

Each sport has three official matches every school year (Fall, Winter, and Spring).

Participating in official matches gives players the opportunity to earn:

• 1 Stat Point
• 1 House Point

Joining a Team

Each Hogwarts House has its own sports teams.

To join, simply sign up in your House's Out of Character forum.

If the team is full, you'll automatically be placed on the waitlist.

Waitlists operate on a first come, first served basis. When a position becomes available, the next eligible player is promoted and receives an owl notifying them of the change.

Before joining a team you must:

• Be registered in the Official Index.
• Meet any sport-specific requirements.

Additional requirements include:

• Duelling: At least two approved duelling spells, including one [Attack] spell.
• Broom Racing: At least two approved broom racing spells.
• Quidditch & Broom Racing: owning a broom is not required, players would be considered to have school brooms, but having a purchased broom comes with several worthwhile advantages.

If you apply before meeting these requirements, your application will be declined. You are welcome to apply again once eligible.
