HIIAfter a long year of Hogwarts, Winter can finally go home. She specifically asked her mother not to get her home during the start of the year. She walked through the neighbourhood, nothing much really changed. She soon arrived at the familiar house, the one with white concrete walls and an orange roof. Winter noticed something new. A pink bicycle right outside of the garage. It was not the baby toy bicycle, but not the huge adult ones. It was just the right size for Winter. There should only be her mother at home, why is there a bicycle there?
HIIWinter thought nothing about it. She rang the doorbell, expecting her mother to come and answer the door. However, a girl with brown hair and brown eyes, about the same age as Winter answered the door. Winter looked around the house from the door. The interior is the same as she remembered. Then, the girl said, ‘You must be Winter! Hi I’m Diana. I am your adoptive sister.’ Now Winter was really confused, she had so many questions in her head, where did Mom go? When did she had an adoptive sister? How did Diana know her name?
HIIJust then, a tall woman tapped Winter’s shoulder. Winter jumped and almost screamed. The woman was her mother. She told Winter to sit inside. Then, Winter’s mom started explaining. She said that Diana was an abandoned child on the streets and since Winter went to Hogwarts and would only come back once a year, she decided to adopt her. She sent Diana to the school where Winter’s mom originally decided Winter to go and the can chat everyday. Winter’s mom won’t feel so lonely anymore. She then told Winter that she would be sharing a room with Diana. Winter rolled her eyes and agreed.
