“NEW BEGINNINGS”
The Great Hall was bustling with the chattering and blabbering of each table as fresh first years walked in, Luetta looked around, studying her surroundings, “Fascinating, that's a large amount of students.” she thought to herself.
The first table she laid eyes upon was the GRYFFINDOR TABLE, bravery, chivalry and nerve, a good house for courageous people to deserve.
Then she looked next at the RAVENCLAW TABLE, wit, creativity and intelligence, this house is eager to let in competence.
She can hear the students her year's blabbering behind her, mixing in with the chattering from every table.
—“Im so excited!”
—“I wonder what we're gonna do!”
—“Ah, all these people makes me nervous..”
Luetta had no intention of joining in, preferring to stand there in silence and observe other people's bickering and conversations, her father did tell her to socialize more often so that she can gain friends, but she doesn't like being the one starting a conversation, so she doesn't have a choice but to wait until someone speaks to her.
Atlast, It is now time for the sorting ceremony, the first years were assigned to their houses, one by one, by the sorting hat, Ravenclaw, Gryffindor, Slytherin or Hufflepuff, depending on the traits that person has connected to a particular house, and now it was Luetta's turn.
Despite multiple signs of Ravenclaw and Slytherin traits, she also showed Hufflepuff traits as well, after what felt like an eternity, the Sorting Hat made it's decision, sorting her into the House of Hufflepuff, a round of applause can be heard from the Hufflepuff table as Luetta walks towards it to sit there.
A start of a new beginning, and her first school year, has now began.
