I walked into the shop Ollivander's. It was a bit old, but mysterious and magical. I could feel the magic here. It was very quiet here. I closed the door behind me, and carefully walked in front, observing the surroundings. The shop was surrounded in dim light, there were a lot of shelvings with their shelves cluttered with small long boxes with names. Suddenly, a short man with grey hair and light-grey eyes appeared in front of me. "Good morning!" he greeted me and I abruptly felt uncomfortable.
His eyes were investigating me, when he all of a sudden went to the shelving and handed me a box. "I think this is the one...," he said, staring at me and then at the box. I carefully opened it and took out a wand. Confused, I looked at Ollivander, but he only said, "Wave it". I waved my hand, holding the wand tight, but nothing happened.
Ollivander shook his head, saying, "Not that one" and handed me another box. I took out another wand and waved my hand. Still, nothing happened. I began to worry, that it is all a mistake and I am not a wizard at all.
Ollivander smiled at me and said, "Try this one, it should work". I took out a wand and waved it. Suddenly there was a bang and we were covered by a cloud of sky-blue smoke.
I coughed and heard Ollivander murmuring, "I think it is the one. A powerful one. Let's see". He handed me another box. I opened it accurately and took out the wand. I nervously waved it and a spark of bright sparks appeared. I felt warmness spreading across me and as if the wand became a part of my hand. "Brilliant! 35,2 cm willow wood and dragon heartstring. Flexible, very effective for unspoken spells, perfect for defense spells”.
I thanked him, took the wand, payed and left the shop, heading to the light of the Diagonal Alley.
