𝓔lwyn has been very excited to start the project with the girl he met. He knows she’s a slytherin girl and he’d seen her around in class a few times before but they never really interacted. Though they did talk about when and where to meet and what to bring, Elwyn wasn’t good with faces and totally forgot how she looks like. He was hoping she remembered their meeting and he didn’t have to go find her. He knew her name was Lena, she seemed very nice. She accidentally heard Elwyn’s “inner thoughts”, which meant Elwyn spoke out loud. Luckily, nobody else heard him.
He was in front of the Greenhouse, waiting for her. He had all the things they discussed he needed to bring, most importantly, his wand and a ton of green paint. They talked about wanting to build a replica of the Devil’s snare once they had a good look on it. He never saw a real Devil’s snare so he was curious how it looked like outside of books. They thought it would be fun. He mentioned to the girl that his father did a similar thing in his school years and he didn’t get caught breaking into the seventh Greenhouse so Elwyn thought they could do it too. Why not? He didn’t have any exciting events in his first year of school so far and it’s almost the end of the school year. He wanted to do something fun. He checked three times to see if he had everything, making sure he didn’t forget anything. They chatted some before about what they think is the most similar to this plant. Venus flytrap, Mimosa pudica and Flitterbloom is what came to their minds at first thought.
Back to the present, Elwyn couldn’t stay in place while waiting so he’s walking around, wearing gloves. He always wears gloves when he’s around plants or potions, he learned it from his father. He was a bit skeptic about building the vines, he wasn’t the most artistic person in the world, he was actually pretty bad at it. He loved crafting, he just wasn’t good at it. His father’s replica is back at his house. It looks amazing. He didn’t know who he had made it with but he was sure that the other person did the most work as his dad wasn’t the best at crafting either.
He knew he arrived a bit sooner, this was probably the first time he didn’t come running so he wouldn’t be late. He was just thinking about how not to get caught and finally stopped moving to not make much noise just as he heard someone’s footsteps.
