Unicorn hair generally produces the most consistent magic, and is least subject to fluctuations and blockages. Wands with unicorn cores are generally the most difficult to turn to the Dark Arts.)

Selene Winslow ✨ First-year Hufflepuff
I was born in London, Egland, to two Muggle parents — my dad is a computer expert and my mum is an English professor. I also have a little brother and I really hope he is a wizard as wellBACKSTORY
From a young age, I was passionate about reading. I felt deeply connected to characters from fantasy books — stories filled with wizards, demigods, and elves. I always believed I belonged in one of those magical worlds.
At eleven, when that strange woman, who had no idea of how humans dress, showed up on our door, I learned that I was a witch. My parents were hesitant at first as they didn’t want us to be separated. But as I grew older, they saw how much it meant to me and finally agreed to let me go. I got my school supplies from Diagon Alley and began my journey as a witch.
At Hogwarts, I was sorted into Hufflepuff, and I’m now a proud first-year student! I've made lots of friends and I’m incredibly happy to be here!!
