𝓔lwyn never really studied outside of his dorm. His dorm mates were usually never inside, always doing something. He wasn’t really on good terms with them. They didn’t dislike each other, they just never got close. Now that the end of the school year was coming closer, the professors were more laid back and didn’t give much homework.
However, Elwyn was horrible at Astronomy. He had never got an Outstanding on his homeworks or assignments. Except one time when he was paired up with Aurora. She helped a lot and the two of them figured the task out. But now he was alone, sitting in the library because he couldn’t find anything about the topic he was given as his homework. Sedna. Where on earth can he find information about Sedna? He knows it’s a dwarf planet, but they didn’t cover it in the class. Some people had to write things about the planets they didn’t cover. Unfortunately, the professor wanted to give the dumb ones an opportunity to get more points in Astronomy and maybe enjoy it or learn to love it more so they wouldn’t be miserable in the next years or so. He was one of those people.
Now he was frantically searching through every Astronomy related book he could find. The table he was sitting at was full of books, the people who passed it couldn’t even see him there. He had gone through maybe over 5 whole books. He actually found some of the things interesting. He learned in one of the books called ‘Fun Facts About Our Universe’ that the Moon is actually shaped like a lemon. Cool right? He really craved a lemon pie now. His mom was incredibly good at making those. Then he realized he was getting distracted, again. This was the tenth time since he sat down here! He really needs to work on that…Anyway, that book was actually the best and most interesting one he found about Astronomy, sadly there was nothing in it about the planet Sedna.
He was currently reading ‘The Ultimate Guide To The Planets’. It seemed to be the one. The one where he would finally find the answers he needed. There were a lot of things he already knew, thank to his professor. It had some fun things written in it too. Like that Mercury is actually associated with a singer named ‘Freddie Mercury’ by many people. He heard about him, his mom sometimes listens to him. He’s a great singer.
After this little distraction he sped up and finally found what he was looking for. He wrote down everything he could find in the book. Even fun facts like that scientists believed it had to have a moon because it was very slow but they actually couldn’t find any. He had no idea why they were related and what is the correlation of it spinning slow and having a moon, but he found it interesting anyway. When he was finally done, he slumped down on the desk and sighed big times. He was here all day after breakfast and it’s going to be lunch time in an hour. This was a struggle…He zoned out on the desk and fell into a light slumber.
